Logoly State Park and Magnolia Arkansas
Outdoortrailhiker visits Logoly State Park and Magnolia Arkansas.
At Arkansas’s first environmental education state park, Logoly’s natural resources provide a living laboratory for students and visitors. Most of Logoly’s 370 acres comprise a State Natural Area that includes unique plant species and mineral springs. This peaceful park surrounded by old growth forest is an easy day trip from Texarkana, El Dorado, Camden, Magnolia, and Hope. Park facilities include six group tent sites (no hookups), a bathhouse with hot showers, pavilion, picnic sites, playground, and multiple trails. Enjoy hands-on interactive exhibits in the new park visitor center. Park interpreters lead programs and field trips year-round.

After leaving the state park we go to explore Magnolia Arkansas.
The city was founded in 1853. At the time of its incorporation in 1858, the city had a population of about 1,950. The city grew slowly as an agricultural and regional cotton market until the discovery of oil just east of the city in March 1938, with the Barnett #1 drilled by the Kerr-Lynn Company. The Magnolia Oil Field was an important discovery for the city as well as for the nation, as it was the largest producing field (in volume) during the early years of World War II, helping to sustain the American war effort.
In March 2013, more than 5,000 barrels of oil leaked from a Lion Oil Trading & Transportation storage tank in Magnolia, with some flowing into a bayou

MAGNOLIA
The Columbia County seat, about 2.5 hours from Little Rock, is a charming southwest Arkansas town with a quaint courthouse square. The town proudly displays its heritage with colorful murals on buildings around the square. Numerous shops and restaurants ringing the courthouse await visitors. Also highlighting the square are the stately trees which give the town its name. Founded in 1909, Southern Arkansas University, a liberal arts college that calls Magnolia home, offers a varied calendar of events and tours of its 658-acre Agricultural and Horticultural Farm. At 3,000 acres, Lake Columbia is one of the largest Arkansas Game and Fish Commission impoundments in South Arkansas and is popular with both anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Magnolia Blossom Festival and World's Championship Steak Cook-off draws thousands of visitors each May.

Bride Killed in Helicopter Crash (Warning: Distressing Footage)
Warning: This is a distressing video. A video has been released showing a helicopter crash that killed four people on board a helicopter en-route to a wedding (December, 2016). The 32-year-old bride, Rosemere do Nascimento, had planned to surprise her fiancé Udirley Damasceno, who was waiting at the altar when the chopper crash landed a mile from the reception venue in a rural area on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil.
While it's *generally* unfair to speculate, the R44 piston machine was in what clearly appears to be IMC. Watch what happens to the aggressive bank around the 1:42 min mark before control is lost. It was careless flying.
All occupants (including a pregnant photopgrapher, Nayla Cristina Neves) were killed.
The Crystal Collector: Giant quartz crystals Ep. 1 Gwinnett Co. Georgia
Thanks for watching our crystal mining adventures. Check out the sprite/fairy some people say we released while digging this vein. Didn't notice it for a couple years until someone pointed it out in the video. Here it is slowed down...
Watch as host Bryan Major digs quartz crystals in Georgia! These are dug direct from the vein they originated in. These are said to be some of the largest ever found in Georgia. Discovered by Jason Barrett in 2008, the crystals have become well known due to the size, the odd location near Atlanta, the rare alpine type vein they came from, and the super unique sparkle they had in the sun from the thousands of sprouting growth form baby crystals..
The mine in the video only has a limited supply left. The pure white quartz crystals coupled with the unique and odd growth forms, became a big hit up in Asheville, N.C. The metaphysical crowd and crystal healers have all loved the powers the Gwinnett quartz has locked away.
Check out these two places to buy rocks and crystals. Thanks for helping support the cause.
Episode 3 at Diamond Hill Mine in South Carolina.
