5 Extraordinary Places Beyond Prague in the Czech Republic
Here are 5 suggestions for places to go beyond Prague when visiting the Czech Republic.
I absolutely love Prague, but the truth is, it has become overrun with visitors and tourist traps. While I'm not suggesting that you skip Prague altogether, I would recommend spending fewer days there and checking out some other parts of the country. The Czech Republic is not very large, as a matter of fact, all of these suggestions are just around 2 hours from the capital city. For more information on getting beyond Prague, visit:

Mělník Czech Republic with Explore Prague
Me and some girlfriends decided to have a girls day out.... our version of a Sunday Funday in Europe. We are all American expats living here in Prague. So I teamed up with Mike from Explore Prague to venture a little outside of the city for some fun. Melnik, Czech Republic is about an hour outside of Prague by bus and an adorable little czech quaint town ( did I mention some good wines..??) Mike gives some excellent tours here that I would highly recommend not only this one, but his others around Prague. For more, check out his website here.

Easy day trip from Prague: KARLSTEJN castle!
Prague autumn is being scarily warm and sunny so we took advantage of it (before the planet self-combusts) and took a train to Srbsko from where we hiked up and down the local hills all the way to Karlstejn, a super cute castle which is ridiculously easy to get to from Prague.
