Full time living in a motorhome three year reminiscing
Living in a Motorhome Fulltime, Steve, Wendy, and Pippin enjoy travelling around the UK and soon to be Europe when time allows. We took a year off and travelled around the UK seeing places that we had no idea existed until we stumbled upon them. Our first adventures took shape in a 10 year old Caravan; a Coachman Pastiche 540/4 which we towed behind a trusty Audi Allroad 3.0TDI Quattro. A beautiful combination of tow car and living space.
We purchased the car in January 2016 and the Caravan in March 2016 and set off on a journey to Essex in memory of Wendy’s mum who’d passed away in January 2016.
In July 2017 we decided that we’d buy a new motorhome and so we now travel around in a Hymer T678CL Golden Limited Motorhome.
We work at a caravan part in the North West of England part time and so get at least 4 days a week when we can be free to travel.
This channel is all about our journey and our lives as Fulltime Motorhome Dwellers.

RV Boondocking in the Canadian Prairies - Motorhome Living Off The Grid!
We had a WILD time at Banff in the Rocky Mountains, but it's time to get heading EAST. From the stunning mountain peaks to the rolling prairie hills in today's full time RV life on the road! Couple free boondocking camping spots too. We love RV living.
Welcome back to the RV life adventure friends! We've been driving more lately after spending all that time in the mountains taking in those killer views and enjoying the convenience of the Banff tunnel mountain RV park life. After leaving that free casino parking lot we wanted to head to Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta. It took a little longer to get there than expected after a process of locating wifi to get the last vlog to you guys, so we ended up getting in a little later than expected.
Dinosaur Provincial Park was really quite a change from the typical landscapes we had been cruising in a straight line through in Alberta. The hoodoo sand and iron formations were all over here and they have found hundreds of fossils in this area. We wanted to check out the visitor info center and see if they had any magnets but we just missed them as they closed.
Luckily our free boondocking rural land campsite wasn't too far away and turned out to be super beautiful and peaceful. We had a great night under the trees near a river and then it was back to the Dinosaur Park. Sadly their magnet selection was very sub par, so no 2nd magnet for us, but we still explored and went to some of the fossil sites on a scenic drive loop they have there.
After that stop it was time to get that RV road trip back in motion to the east so we took off for the Saskatchewan border. On the way east we also wanted to visit Saskatchewan's The Great Sand Hills park and see some sand dunes. The roads were pretty treacherous for our RV, very bumpy dirt roads with washboards, to a then pure sand path. Luckily we took it slow on the bumps and made it through the sand and all was well. It was super worth it in the end too. The Great Sand Hills actually move over time as the sand travels in the wind until it gets piled up somewhere else. We had fun getting pictures and footage here as it actually felt like you were in the middle of a desert even though you could still see prairies as well. We also visited Boot Hill, where there is a cowboy boots arbour made by John Booth, who has passed away now but used to care for the park. The arbour has pairs of cowboy boots hung all over it and faces out into the prairies and sand hills so makes for a cool view.
After navigating our little motor home out of the Great Sand Hills area it was time for another night of boondock camping. We had pre-found a free little pull off right near a reservoir off the road. It was a scenic little spot to camp, although we did get hit by a HUGE windstorm which actually forced us to turn and face our RV into the wind it was so heavy and rocking us. Still made for another great free night on the road as a place to sleep compared to always paying for a busy site.
After that beautiful spot, it's on to one of many Walmarts we spend the night in. Next video you'll get a little bit more of the free Walmart camping life in an RV at least as we take advantage of a few spots to grab groceries while also driving through the prairies where scenic rest stops are few and far between to just pull over like we had in BC. We next video be ready for RV Walmart camping! Haha
And that concludes the next chapter of our full time RV living on the road my friends! This new RV lifestyle is sure a fun change and we hope you guys are enjoying it as something new too.
Thanks for visiting! We'd love to see you like that video if you did indeed like it, and subscribe for the continued adventure as well. Cheers,
