-- About this video –
Today we are starting the day with a short and classic New Zealand bush walk in the White Pine Bush Scenic Reserve in Awakeri, just outside of the Bay of Plenty city of Whakatane. This Whakatane walk is a great forest walk in the North Island especially if you are low on time. This forest walk in the Bay of Plenty takes only about 30 minutes to complete through stunning forest.
After the White Pine Bush Walk in Whakatane we go to the Awakeri Hot Springs to bathe in the naturally heated geothermal pools. These hot pools in Whakatane are affordable or even free if staying at the Awakeri Hot Springs Holiday Park. We spend the rest of the afternoon in these North Island hot pools in the Bay of Plenty. They are one of the hot springs in New Zealand worth trying.
So what do you think of these New Zealand hot pools? Would you add this walk in Whakatane and Awakeri Hot Springs to your Whakatane travel itinerary? LUK in the comments!

Why I Love Living In the Philippines
Why I Love Living in the Philippines. Filipina Dating Website: ❤️

So, why do I love the Philippines so very, very much?
#1. Has to be My Lovely Filipina Girlfriend.
Whenever you lose a relationship, it hurts like hell. And I was definitely no exception.
But Wow! I've found someone who is absolutely wonderful. In fact, I'm in a seriously happy place relationship-wise.
She's a very sweet, gentle, loving and kind-hearted soul. Not jealous. Not greedy. Never gets angry. Leaves me feeling very blessed to have her in my life.
2. The People.
Filipinos are genuinely friendly people. They're willing to welcome visitors wherever and whenever. It's like they're hard-wired for friendship. As each day passes by, I feel happier and happier to live in a place where folks are so friendly and polite.
3. The Cost of Living.
I have some dear friends in Florida. They're both in their 70's and finding it hard to live on their retirement income of $3,000 a month.
I told them a few weeks ago: You can live like a King and Queen on $3,000 a month here.
4. Doctors.
This is something that really surprised me. But the medical treatment I have received here has been absolutely exceptional.
Just this week, I visited a Specialist. I've had the flu and developed an infection in both ears.
The specialist and I hit it off immediately. Really nice person and so very helpful.
And by the way, I was examined, treated in both ears, given 2 weeks medication and the entire bill was only 1,300 Piso [about $25.40].
5. Breathtaking Islands.
6. Beautiful Beaches.
The Philippines has some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet.
7. Lazada.ph
For Awesome Online Shopping. I love using Lazada to buy stuff and have it sent straight to my door C.O.D.
8. Awesome Massages for Only $5
9. The Philippines is Within Easy Travel Distance to Other Asian Nations.
It's ideally located in the Pacific Ocean halfway between Japan, the Koreas, China, Australia and New Zealand, It's a great base from which to go and check out all of Asia.
10. Filipinos Really Love Foreigners.
If you respect their culture and learn to speak even a few words of their native language, you'll be amazed at how nice people are to you here.
11. It’s All About Family and Friends.
Family is Everything to folks here in the Philippines. I really respect and admire that.
12. People Speak English.
You’ve probably heard that the Philippines is one of the largest English speaking nations in the whole of Asia, and that’s definitely true.
13. Believe it or Not - The Philippines Even Has Chocolate Hills!
The Chocolate Hills of Bohol are an interesting geological formation located in the province of the same name.
More than 1,700 hills covered in green grass are spread across an area of more than 20 square miles,
and they turn brown during the dry season, hence the name “Chocolate Hills”. It's one of the most visited sites in the Philippines.
14. Affordable Accommodation.
15. Friendly Expat Community.
In Thailand, I met so many expats who had a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock.
But here, I've met lots of really normal blokes. Happily Married to their Filipina Wives, they'll tell you in a heartbeat how much they seriously love living here.
16. Fast Internet.
17. Diving and Snorkeling Here in the Philippines is Phenomenal.
18. Fitting in is Way Easier in the Philippines. It's a whole lot easier to actually feel like you belong here.
19. Getting a Visa is Easy.
20. Politeness.
Call me old fashioned, but I strongly believe in being polite and respectful. In saying Please and Thank You and especially in treating older people with respect.
I've never lived anywhere where folks are so polite as they are here in the Philippines.
21. Compassion.
To hear some negative expats talk - anyone would think that Filipinos only want money.
But I've observed first hand how compassionate they are.
For example, I've seen my girlfriend time after time buy lunch for a street kid, or help a sick friend or relative with a hospital or doctors bill.
And then, there's my own case of getting seriously unwell when I first arrived here... And having my landlord and her extended family look after me like I was related to them.
Now, keep in mind, I was a total stranger to these people. And yet they arranged doctors appointments, put load on my phone, brought me food and checked on me constantly.
There's a reason why Filipinas are renowned for being some of the very best nurses in the world. Compassion runs deep here.

What to do in ABU DHABI: TOP GEAR 4X4 Safari Tourist Attractions!
(Watch in HD - Please hit LIKE and SUBSCRIBE)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abu Dhabi is becoming a hot spot for Hollywood films! Movies like the Fast and the Furious 7 have Scenes filmed in The Etihad Towers and Emirates Palace with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Dwayne Johnson. Abu Dhabi is also known, for its mark in Sex in the City, when Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Carrie Bradshaw, and her friends Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) take a trip to Abu Dhabi. Another top movie is Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Hollywood actors such as Harrison Ford playing Hans Solo, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron and so much more!
My friends and I decided to spend a day in the stunning Deserts of Abu Dhabi. We used Capital Gates Tourism and Adventure to book our trip. They were awesome, picked us up right in front of our apartment and headed straight to the desert.
Surrounded by a sea of red sand, our professional driver took the four of us dune bashing off the sides of the sandy hills, and through secret passageways that only a pro would know how to maneuver.
In the middle of it all, our driver parked on top of the tallest hill and invited us to get out of the car to take in the view. Spiritual or not, the moment was ethereal. Time was on a standstill, and I could have stood there for days.
While overlooking the soft and pointed hills of the sandy desert, my friends and I stood there in awe of the beauty nature has painted for us. Taking steps in the sand, which were blown away in seconds, I was unable to leave a trace of my existence.
We also visited a camel farm, drove dune buggies, ate delicious food, and went sand boarding! I can't wait to go back, it was an experience that I could repeat over and over again.

Shorebirds of Texas #1
I have been videoing shorebirds for over 10 years now ... first in High Definition, and now in 4K. These are some of my best clips over the years. They were shot with numerous cameras, including the Panasonic HC-V700, Sony FX1, Canon G30 and Sony RX-10. I am not a professional photographer. I am a dentist and have large Flat-screen TVs in the ceilings above the treatment room chairs. This allows my patients to enjoy beautiful nature videos during treatment, hopefully bringing some peace into an otherwise stressful time. I was already a nature lover, but the pursuit of beautiful peaceful videos has made me an avid bird watcher.
Enjoy,
Rob
