GREECE: Island of SKIATHOS, the beautiful WATERFRONT after sunset
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the beautiful Greek island of SKIATHOS in the Aegean Sea and let's walk along the spectacular waterfront (promenade) right after sunset.. Skiathos is best known for its beaches and buzzing, youth-driven nightlife scene. The action centers around Skiathos Town, where bars and restaurants spill onto sidewalks along the old harbor and Papadiamanti street, the main pedestrian thoroughfare.

Skiathos Greece and Koukounaries beach
Skiathos is a small Greek island in the northwest Aegean Sea.
There are over 60 beaches in Skiathos, all sandy including Koukounaries rated 7th best beach in the world and best in Greece. Also Banana Beach just around the headland is the island's only Naturist Beach and is fantastic and very sheltered.
If you want a quiet holiday - fine have one. If you want to walk in the hills - fine do that and if you want to lie on a beach - that too!
This is a great place to go for families. Not so good for older people who will suffer from the heat and the hills on the island.
Skiathos Town is the place to eat and to be seen eating. The beautiful people meet up here, have a meal in one of the harbour-side restaurants and just pass the time over wine and cocktails.
No words to describe how truly amazing Koukounaries beach is! It has everything you want. White powdery sand, warm blue sea, wildlife, a forest backdrop a bar, café changing facilities and clean toilets, all discretely hidden among the trees.
The pine forest that borders the beach is heaven on earth! You definitely must visit it!
