The medieval and early modern Margraviate of Moravia was a crown land of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown , an imperial state of the Holy Roman Empire , later a crown land of the Austrian Empire and briefly also one of 17 former crown lands of the Cisleithanian part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1867 to 1918. During the early 20th century, Moravia was one of the five lands of Czechoslovakia from 1918 to 1928; it was then merged with Czech Silesia, and eventually dissolved by abolition of the land system in 1949.     OSTRAVAR Aréna is an indoor arena used mainly for ice hockey matches, in Vítkovice, Ostrava, Czech Republic. It opened in 1986 and underwent a €23.3 million renovation in 2003–2004. The capacity of the arena is 9,779, plus 16 skyboxes, making it the fourth-largest hockey venue in the Czech Republic. The rink can be converted into seating for concerts, increasing the capacity to 12,500. It is the home of ice hockey club HC Vítkovice. In November 2003, the arena was given the name ČEZ Aréna, from July 2015 its name was Ostrava Aréna. It was renamed to OSTRAVAR Aréna in 2016.In May 2011, Ostrava's Deputy Mayor for Investment, Jiří Srba, announced a plan to invest 10 million CZK in the stadium in the same year.
