VELKÁ AMERIKA , ČESKÁ AMERIKA, PRAGUE, 2016, KANON, CZECH REPUBLIC, Velká Amerika (též zvaný Východní lom nebo lom Východ) je vápencový lom na území obce Mořina v okrese Beroun v České republice v CHKO Český kras. Je největším ze skupiny zdejších lomů. Velikost lomu je asi 750×150 metrů. Hloubka lomu bývá udávána v rozmezí 67 až 80 m. Dno je v nadmořské výšce 322 m. (6. těžební patro), přičemž žádný jiný lom ve skupině do tohoto patra nezasahuje.

Do nadmořské výšky 335 m (5. těžební patro, západní polovina dna lomu) je lom zatopen bezodtokým jezerem.

Ve východní, výše položené a proto nezatopené části skládají lidé z kamenů různé obrazce a nápisy, proto se tato část nazývá „Obrazárna“.

Lom vytváří impozantní kaňon a je vyhledávaným turistickým místem. Byly zde natáčeny české filmy, např. Cesta na jihozápad (1989), Limonádový Joe, Malá mořská víla, Micimutr a další. , Velká Amerika (Big America, Czech Grand Canyon) is a partly flooded, abandoned limestone quarry near Mořina village, in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic (in Beroun District).

It is 800 metres long, 200 metres wide and 80 to 100 metres deep with an 18-metre deep lake on the bottom.

Mining of the limestone was conducted in the first half of the 20th century. There are other quarries nearby, one of those is Malá Amerika (Small America) about 1.3 km to the west. The quarries are connected with each other by long tunnels.

The place has several times been used by Czech filmmakers. The place is sought after by professional divers and also popular spot for tourists on their trip to the Karlštejn Castle.
