Petit Jean State Park - Arkansas

Nestled high above on a mountain top, Petit Jean State Park is Arkansas's first and most prominant State Park. It's their crown jewel. Petit Jean is located just south west of Morrilton, off Exit #108 on Interstate 40.

It was our first night out on Discovery's maiden voyage and we arrived to sprinkling rain after travelling the 628 miles to get there. The park is known for the famous Cedar Falls and I got some really awesome footage. However, as all videographers dread, not all the files transferred when I saved to the laptop hard drive and I accidentally deleted about 30 video files including all the waterfall shots. Live and learn I guess :-)
