Charmadi Ghat is a Ghat in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada and Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru. It is one of the points in Western ghats through which motorable road passes connecting Dakshina Kannada with Chikkamagaluru district. The section of ghat is known by the name of Charmadi Ghat. Trip to Sringeri

Sringeri is a small village on the top of a mountain in South India. Sripad Shankaracharya who appeared 1200 years back established 4 mathas at four directions of India. In North he established a math at Badrinath, in East at Jagannath Puri and in West at Dwaraka.

Sringeri is a beautiful place with good facility to stay and the temperature there in mid June was just 24 degree. Beautiful Tunga river flows with clear & sweet water. Worth visiting.

Sripad Shankaracharaya who just lived for 32 years travelled extensively across India establishing the teachings of Vedas. In heart a devotee, he wrote many songs glorifying Krishna. The title song ‘Bhaja Govindama’ is one of his original writing.
