This is day #1 of my Black Forest & Vosges Tour in May 2019. It takes me a day on the Autobahn to get to the Black Forest but this time I took an extra day to made the trip down south part of my journey which took me through the Thüringer Wald, Rhön, Spessart and the Odenwald. Day 1 ends in the Odenwald.

The ruin is located between Streitberg and Muggendorf in Franconian Switzerland. The few meters that you have to walk uphill to the ruins, is worth it. The ruin should be on the list when you visit the Franconian Switzerland.

Die Ruine befindet sich zwischen Streitberg und Muggendorf in der fränkischen Schweiz. Die paar Meter, die man bergauf zur Ruine laufen muss, lohnen sich auf jeden Fall. Sie sollte bei jedem Trip in die fränkische Schweiz mit auf der Liste stehen.
