Avenue Of The Giants: A Timelapse Trip from Miranda to Myers Flat

A time lapse (sped up) tour along the world-famous Avenue of the Giants, home of some of the tallest Redwood trees, which are themselves the world's tallest trees. This segment covers the Miranda, California, to Myers flat, California segment of the Avenue of the Giants.

I shot the video on an iPhone 5s with the app Hyperlapse from Instagram, a free video app that offers you a time lapse video, which is a sped up version of normal events. I edited on the iPhone using Apple's iMovie, another free app.

This scenic loop road off of Hwy 101 in northern California is home to some of the largest and tallest trees in the world. The 40 mile loop takes you through beautiful Humboldt Redwoods State Park passing through the tiny town of Myers Flat. Avenue of the Giants is also designated as Hwy 254. See if you can see the deer cross the road in front of us at about the 12 minute mark :-)
