Our memories of Taipei, Taiwan, China.
We visited few of Taipei, Taiwan's tourist destinations. Our list is Ximending, Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, Tamsui Old Street, Raohe Night Market, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and few other places.
We stayed in Ximending area for the reason it is the best location for tourist to stay in Taipei. Ximending is very accessible to shopping, restaurants and MRT Station. We had a wonderful time in Taipei and we hope to be back soon to visit more places in Taiwan.
Taipei has a very tasty and interesting street market. The train station, bus, and taxi are tourist friendly.
Transportation
Taxi Taoyuan Airport to Taipei NTD 1300. Try to contact your hotel for airport transfer. It is cheaper. We got a 7 seater van from the hotel to Taoyuan Airport for the same price.

Fu Chang hotel an awesome place to stay in the heart of Taipei city. The hotel is situated in the Wanhua district of Taipei city. If you look from the outside the hotel looks like very old, however, it gives a great feeling as soon as you enter in the centrally-airconditioned hotel. The service is very nice and the people are very humble and cooperative. This was our second stay in the hotel and the experience was mind blowing. This time we stayed on the fifth floor.
The hotel is easily accessible by Taipei metro. It is near to the famous Ximending shopping street. The Ximending area has so much in it like, movie theaters, eateries, fashion clothes, electronic shops, pizza houses, tea shops, ice-cream parlors and a lot more than this.
How to reach there: Hotel is very near to Taipei Main Station. The Taipie Main Station is the hub of TRA train and THSR also has stop here. Catch Taipei metro and reach Ximen station. Take exit # 6. Walk through the market along Hanzhong street, take left turn along Emei street on the intersection. Walk straight along Emei street till Taipei cinema park. Take right turn on the cinema park intersection along Kangding road and you will find Fu Chang hotel on your left side, just opposite the temple.

Explore THE BEST parts of China!
See China from above. On a recent trip, I saw inland China and Yunnan Province (my absolute favourite place in China). The remote destinations were beautiful, accommodating, and mysterious. We had no idea how to get around so we took each day as it came. We ended up on some pretty long hikes and bus rides, but it all was worth it. Take me back!!!

The Wulai Waterfall with a height difference of up to 80m at the intersection of the Wulai River and Nanshi River is the most famous attraction in Wulai.
Visitors are recommended to visit there in the afternoon to enjoy the glittering sunshine flickering above the water.
The sound and power of the fall are also great for visitors to relieve stress in daily life.
The “Wulai Waterfall” with a height difference of up to 80m is known as “the waterfall with the largest height difference in Taiwan”.
Water falls from the height down to the river valley like a rainbow.
In the Japanese colonial period, it was called the “waterfall from the cloud”.
Hold Senior EasyCard take MRT from Taipei Main Staion to Xindian Station will deduct 12 points.
And then take bus 849 to Wulai Station deduct 4 points.
