A Tourist in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley (Australia)
Melbourne is a hub airport for Quantas and Emirates, an ideal opportunity for travellers to break their journey and visit some of the local attractions, such as the wonderful sandy beaches of Port Phillip Bay, sample a glass or two at one of the Yarra Valley wineries, take a trip on a steam train, or maybe ride one of the vintage trams around the city. Visit a zoo to get close to some of the colorful wildlife, there is even a chocolate factory with a cafe where customers can choose from an amazing array of candy, cakes, ice-cream, snacks and beverages. The riverside walkways are lined with cafes, bars and intriguing artwork. Board one of the river boats for an alternative view of the city’s attractive high rise skyline. The “Melbourne Star Observation Wheel” offers stunning aerial views over the city and surrounding suburbs, along with a commentary outlining the history of the area, as well as pointing out some of the more notable landmarks. Public transport is good with one of the largest, if not the largest tram network in the world, there are regular commuter trains out to the leafy suburbs such as Belgrave, for a trip on the delightful Puffing Billy railway where passengers can ride through the tall eucalyptus trees and ferns of the Wright Forest in a vintage railway carriage pulled by a centenarian steam locomotive. With so much to see and do, Melbourne is well worth a visit.

MELBOURNE CITY TOUR SOUTH WHARF YARRA RIVER MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA
( Rivers Edge )
South Wharf is an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 2 km south-west of Melbourne's Central Business District. Its local government areas are the Cities of Melbourne and Port Phillip. At the 2016 Census, South Wharf had a population of 106.
South Wharf is a small inner suburb south west from Melbourne's CBD. Its borders are the Yarra River to the north, Wurundjeri Way to the west, the West Gate Freeway and a small private car park bordering Ford Street and Munro Street, which is part of the City of Port Phillip, to the south and the former Port Melbourne railway line and Clarendon Street to the east.
Gazetted in 2008 [3] and formerly part of the industrial and shipping area of Southbank, the renaming is part of a wider urban renewal strategy to link Southbank with the Melbourne Docklands.
South Wharf includes some of Melbourne's landmarks, including the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and the Melbourne Maritime Museum, with its heritage Polly Woodside.
South Wharf is also home to many apartments, shopping outlet Direct Factory Outlets and the 5-star luxury hotel Pan Pacific Hotel
A five-storey Victorian warehouse, known as the Tea House (at 28 Clarendon Street), built in 1888, is one of the few buildings which survived the redev
elopment of the area.

US daredevils jump off 65-foot tower with hooks through their backs
SHOCKING footage shows US daredevils jumping off a 65-foot high tower with their fall caught only by ropes held in place by four HOOKS through their backs.
The high-octane video shows the male and female group members, who are the only people in America to practice this extreme sport, taking it turns to jump as the hooks violently jerk them up when the rope runs tight.
In one hilarious jump an adrenaline-junkie nearly loses his shorts after falling into water and springing back out again with his bottom exposed.
The video shows Jason Garrett (40) from Norfolk, Virginia and his team of body modification artists and practitioners taking part in freefall suspension, which Jason took to America from Russia.
