Finisterre. The end of my Journey. Ultreia! Top rated documented journey El Camino De Santiago
From the beginning, the end of my pilgrimage was always to walk on the beach at Finesterre and see a sunset at the lighthouse. It was moving to me to see so many Camino shells washing up and laying on the beach. This is where it all began. My heart was full to overflowing for the blessings I felt, arriving safe and healthy and for the experiences, lessons and people I met along The Way. A glorious end to an amazing journey. Thanks for the love, Alaskan Pilgrim- Jeanee
Camino de Invierno (Ponferrada - Santiago)| CaminoWays.com
Traditionally the Camino de Invierno (Winter Way) was the route taken by pilgrims to Santiago in the Winter time to avoid the snowy months in the mountains of O Cebreiro, on the Camino Frances. Pilgrims would head south of Ponferrada and follow the meandering River Sil into Galicia. This is a truly spectacular Camino route, full of history and breathtaking landscapes; perfect for those looking for a challenge and an off-the-beaten track Camino experience. Despite its name, this off the beaten track route is best discovered in Spring, when green lush vines create wonderful vistas or in Autumn to make the most of the magical red and ochre colours of the forests and vineyards.
The Camino de Invierno takes pilgrims to the unique landscapes of Las Médulas; a UNESCO-listed site shaped by gold-mining in Roman times; and once in Galicia, pilgrims walk in the heart of the superb Ribeira Sacra, the valley of the Sil River. This relatively undiscovered region is famous for its impressive river canyons, terraced vineyards and rich Romanesque heritage.
The route has been marked with the Camino arrows and shells by the local Camino association. Once in Santiago de Compostela, you should request your Compostela pilgrim certificate to complete this unforgettable trip.

City Council of A Coruña, A Coruña, Galicia, Spain, Europe
The City Council of A Coruña is the governing body and local administration of the municipality of La Coruña, in the homonymous province of Spain. It is chaired by the mayor of La Coruña who, since 1979, is democratically elected. Currently holds the position of Xulio Ferreiro, Marea Atlántica, in the position since 2015, the year in which he succeeded Carlos Negreira Souto of the PP, who has held the mayor's office since 2011. Until the year 1897, the city council was in the old city. However, in that year the new Town Hall was inaugurated, located in the square of Maria Pita, of modernist style. The current building dates back to 1918 and was completed by the municipal architect Pedro Mariño.
