Nesna is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Nesna. Other villages in Nesna include Handnesneset, Husby, Saura, and Vikholmen. The municipality consists of the three islands Tomma, Hugla , and Handnesøya, and one peninsula that bears the name of the municipality, Nesna.     Havmannen, or Havmann is a granite stone sculpture by the English artist Antony Gormley located in the city of Mo i Rana in Northern Norway. The sculpture stands proud in the Ranfjord in the city of Mo i Rana, which is often referred to in Norway as Polarsirkelbyen . The sculpture is 11 metres tall, weighs 60 tonnes , and according to Lonely Planet is forever up to his knees in water, turns his back on the town and gazes resolutely out over the fjord.The artist originally envisaged the sculpture being created in steel, based on the traditional steel industry which was one of the pillars of industrial Mo i Rana, and placed in the fjord to illustrate the sharp contrasts between nature and industry.     The Helgeland Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Leirfjorden between the mainland and the island of Alsta in Nordland county, Norway. The town of Sandnessjøen is located just southwest of the bridge on the island. The Helgeland Bridge was designed by Holger S. Svensson. Construction began in 1989 and it was finished in 1991. The bridge officially opened in July 1991. Construction cost was 200 million NOK. The bridge was a toll bridge until 23 June 2005.The 1,065-metre-long bridge is made up of 12 spans, the longest of which is 425 metres long. The maximum clearance to the sea below the bridge is 45 metres . The foundations extend to a depth of 31 metres . The bridge is built out of pre-stressed and reinforced concrete and steel cables.
