    Roosevelt Campobello International Park preserves the house and surrounding landscape of the summer retreat of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt and their family.     Fundy National Park is located on the Bay of Fundy, near the village of Alma, New Brunswick. The Park showcases a rugged coastline which rises up to the Canadian Highlands, the highest tides in the world and more than 25 waterfalls. The Park covers an area of 207 km2 along Goose Bay, the northwestern branch of the Bay of Fundy. When one looks across the Bay, they can see the northern Nova Scotia coast. At low tide, park visitors can explore the ocean floor where a variety of sea creatures cling to life. At high tide, the ocean floor disappears under 15 m of salt water.     Village historique acadien is an historical reconstruction that portrays the way of life of Acadians between 1770 and 1949. It is located in Bertrand, in northeastern New Brunswick, 50 kilometres east of Bathurst and 130 kilometres north of Miramichi, New Brunswick. More than 40 buildings are staffed by interpreters in period costume who bring ancestral customs and traditional trades to life. Among the attractions is Hôtel Château Albert, a replica of a turn-of the century hotel that once existed in Caraquet. The original was destroyed by fire in 1955 but it has been re-created at the Village. It offers overnight accommodations as well as a dining room. Allow a minimum of 3 hours for a complete visit.

    The Reversing Falls are a series of rapids on the Saint John River located in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, where the river runs through a narrow gorge before emptying into the Bay of Fundy. The semidiurnal tides of the bay force the flow of water to reverse against the prevailing current when the tide is high, although in the spring freshet, this is frequently surpassed by the downstream volume of water. New Brunswick surprised us in so many ways. From kayaking some of the highest tides in the world to the walking around the historic streets of Fredericton, we experienced so much in such little time. We walked on the ocean floor during low tide, rappelled down a cliff at Cape Enrage, went back in time at King's Landing, zip-lined over a canyon in Grand Falls, and stumbled across a military ceremony in Fredericton where we got to see a new commanding officer take charge complete with a marching band, marching soldiers, and the opportunity to go inside a LAV.

Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multimedia road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?

We will drive to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

From the world's highest tides on the Bay of Fundy to warm swimming waters on the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the sightseeing pleasures of New Brunswick may come as a surprise. The province is virtually rectangular in shape, bordering Québec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and the U.S. State of Maine.

The largest cities are Saint John, Moncton, and the provincial capital, Fredericton. But among the dense forests (which cover more than three-quarters of the province), rivers divide the land into shallow valleys with good farmland. Along the coast, New Brunswick has a relatively mild maritime climate. Inland, on the other hand, there are mostly continental extremes of temperature with hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters.
