    The Parachutes Tour was a concert tour by British alternative rock band Coldplay. The tour was in support of the band's debut album, Parachutes. The tour mostly visited small venues and clubs.The spinning globe light, from the cover of Parachutes, used to sit on Chris Martin's piano during gigs on this tour. It was a last minute suggestion to use it for the cover, as the band were struggling to come up with ideas. For this tour, Lowgold acted as the support act.
