Zofingen, Switzerland
The city of Zofingen, in the Swiss canton of Aargau, has a long history dating back to the 12th century and beyond. It prospered as a walled market town because it was on the trade route from Basel to Lucerne, and as the film shows it has some fine historic architecture. The gentle music soundtrack underlines the peacefulness of the city on a sunny winter’s day, with people going quietly about their business on foot and by bicycle, so that when some traffic is seen on the outskirts near the end of the film, it is quite a surprise!

Driving tips for Swiss Alps mountain roads
Driving in Switzerland can be tricky. This is especially the case in the Swiss Alps with their twisty and narrow mountain roads. When you have done most of your driving in congested mega cities or on super wide and straight roads, driving on Switzerland’s mountain roads can be quite overwhelming. There are two reasons for this. On the one hand, you will encounter roads you have never driven on before, and you may actually feel forces in your car, you have never felt before.
So, if you follow these 13 tips, you will enjoy a bit more safety. But remember, this list could be endless. The tips are also not ranked by importance, but by real time occurance as you can see in the video. The most important tip is that you will always use your common sense and be cautious at all times.
1. Be careful with corners, you don’t know what’s behind or how narrow it is.
2. Don’t just park your car at the side of the road. You may block traffic.
3. Expect natural obstacles such as rocks, wood or animals on the road. Call the police if you run over a deer, so they can remove it or arrange for it to be relieved properly. There is no punishment for this.
4. Although you may push your car on a straight, remember, you are on a twisty road and you will have to slow down eventually.
5. Expect farm animals on the road, as the roads sometimes lead through pastures. Please slow down.
6. The roads are shared by with cyclists and pedestrians.
7. The mountains are a great place for the army to train, and they do. Don’t be afraid, simply follow their instructions.
8. Overtaking is the main cause of accidents. The roads are narrow, sometimes the visibility is bad and your VW Sharan with 5 people and a trunk full of luggage is not going to have the performance uphill you expect it to. Better be safe than sorry here.
9. Sometimes the already narrow roads become narrower, so no two cars fit properly next to each other. In this case use the zones where you can pass each other.
10. Although the scenery is wonderful, make sure the driver keeps the eyes on the road, as there is always a chance for a surprise around the next corner.
11. No racing please. Also try not to be intimidated by the idiot behind you.
12. Road conditions can change quickly, especially when at the beginning and end of season (summer) the roads can have snow or frozen water on them.
13. Respect each other and the environment.
That’s it. And of course, enjoy! If you would like to see all these tips in real life example, please watch the video.

WELCOME TO ZUG :)
The town of Zug is located in the canton of Zug and is the canton's capital. The name Zug originates from fishing vocabulary; in the middle ages it referred to the right to pull up fishing nets and hence to the right to fish. The official language of Zug is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.
Zug may be small but it is a high quality destination in Switzerland. It is also compact, so everywhere can be easily reached. It enjoys beautiful undulating scenery with two lakes and is not far from the mountains. What is more, it enjoys the most stunning sunsets. It is also known for its cherries and the world of business and is a most pleasant place in which to live, work, or just spend time.
It is a joy just being here.
