Walking around Kawasaki, Japan - 4K
A 45 minute walk around the shopping and entertainment districts around Kawasaki Station.
Kawasaki is a city of roughly 1,5 million residents located in Kanagawa Prefecture, just south of the Japanese capital. In fact, it only takes about 20 minutes by train to travel here from central Tokyo.
Filmed in June 2018 with a LG V20 mounted on a DJI Osmo Mobile 2. 4K / Ultra HD resolution.
I hope you like this travel & walking video. Feel free to come with suggestions if there are any other areas of Tokyo you want me to film.
Walking in Ginza, Tokyo - The Famous Shopping District - 4K, 60FPS
Oh Ginza... Once a place where upper-class Tokyoites of the older generation went for their weekend shopping. These days however, it feels more like a big tourist trap where entire shops seems to be designed only for visitors arriving in tour buses, looking to bring back as much tax-free goods as possible...
It's still one of the most visually interesting areas in Tokyo though, thanks to the long wide roads lit up by all the upscale brands trying to outdo each other.
In this video, shot on a weekend evening, I'm covering the entire main street (Chuo-Dori), famous for upscale shopping malls like Mitsukoshi, Matsuya and now also Ginza Six, before venturing off to some of the smaller side streets. It was shot just as the sky went from blue to black, so you can see the entire neighborhood slowly light up in this video.

Walking in Tokyo, Jiyugaoka Evening Walk - X-T3, 4K 60 FPS.
Jiyugaoka, is a trendy and chic upscale neighborhood in southern Tokyos Meguro ward. Located a mere 10 mintutes from Shibuya, it's a popular place to live thanks to it's many narrow streets lined with shops, bars and restaurants that in some places has a slightly European feel to them.
In this video I'm walking around in the neighbourhood for about 45 minutes during the time when the first commuters start to come back from their workday. You might notice that the streets are considerably emptier in the beginning of this video compared to at the end. This is very typical for residental areas in Tokyo. Some can be very quiet until around 5pm, when they suddenly become very crowded and busy.
Jiyugaoka station is serviced by the Tokyu Toyoko line and the Tokyu Oimachi line.
This was filmed on a weekday in November 2018, with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Laowa 9mm f2.8, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane gimbal for stability.
Shot in F-Log and graded in Adobe Premiere CC.

An fun escalator or electrical device is transportation, which is a slanting ladder with steps that move up or down, maintaining the same relative geometry between them and a handrail, while moving with respect on around them.It was invented in 1897 by Jesse W. Reno to New York, United States.
Charles Seeberg developed further ideas Wheeler, along with the Otis Elevator Company, used the best ideas from Reno and Seeberg. The result was the creation of the modern fun escalator.
The fun escalator transports people without having to move, as the steps move mechanically. Used to carry comfortably and quickly a large number of people between floors of a building, especially in malls, airport s exchangers public transport ( metro, buses urban, etc.). If a person were to fun escalator (save) the floor below would cause the scale to move up (and vice versa). In this case, the system is programmed so that the sense of scale can not be reversed while a series of sensors detect that there are people using the fun escalator.
In Hong Kong is part of the outdoor escalators world's longest, is 800 meters long and 135 meters of ascent was installed in 1994 and 55,000 people a day use. template: Sinreferencias. The section of the world's shortest fun escalator in the mall is More Kawasaki, Japan. The Guinness Book of Records certified it in 1989 with a height of 834mm vertically.
Do not stop at the ends of the scale. Move as fast as possible so you enter and when you leave the fun escalator, thus avoiding crowds of people at the ends. Keep in mind that stopping a person on the end of the output is very dangerous since other people behind and thrusts occur unnecessarily.
A conveyor system is a continuous transport of mainly a continuous band that moves between two drums. The band is dragged by friction drums, which in turn is driven by a motor. The other single drum rotated open without any drive, and its function is to serve as a return to the band. The band is supported by rollers between the two drums.
The public transport consists of the mass transport used by passengers who are not owners, as opposed to private transport. Public transport services to be suministrats companies public or private, and can be free or paid. The mechanism, similar to that of a treadmill, consists of steps articulated, generally metallic, which move more or less rapidly upwardly or downwardly. To facilitate the input and output of the user, the ends are aligned with the ground, which gives it the shape of a S a little stretched.
In France, escalators were installed massively from the 1970s. As an example, the Paris Metro quickly with most stations accessed by fun escalator. Many escalators also equip the Beaubourg center, providing access to the top of the building, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Paris. The term fun escalator is a registered trademark by Otis, should strictly be capitalized, but it is now passed into everyday language, especially in Anglo-Saxon countries.
Escalators are a feature of urban life, because usually they are only in places with high traffic. Although you have a slower conveyor speed as elevators, but offer the advantage that they can absorb significantly more people. Escalators in interior areas tend to have more slender flanks, which are often made of glass, while they have outdoor metal panels. Due to the longer term and weathering are escalators that are in outside areas and are always in operation, more stressed. They can also the target of especially at night, or in a general weak traffic and remote areas vandalism be.
An ordinary fun escalator requires an average of 2-5 kW of electrical power. The demand depends on the speed, length and thus the size of the stairs.

Walking in Tokyo. Harajuku Station to Meiji Jingu Shrine - 明治神宮 - 4K
In this video I'm walking from JR Harajuku Station (Omotesando Exit) to the Meiji Jingu Shrine, one of the most popular shrines in Tokyo. The approach to the shrine takes you through a lush forest, that makes it easy to forget that you are still in the central parts of Tokyo. Once I reached the inner parts of the area, I bumped into a traditional Japanese Wedding Ceremony as well as a Bonsai Tree exhibition.
Filmed in June 2018 with a LG V20 (Wide Angle Lens) mounted on a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 in 4K / Ultra HD resolution.
