The best places of Orihuela
Orihuela is a city and municipality located at the feet of the Sierra de Orihuela mountains in the province of Alicante, Spain. The city of Orihuela had a population of 33,943 inhabitants in the beginning of 2013. The municipality has a total area of 367.19 km², and stretches all the way down to the Mediterranean coast, west of Torrevieja, and had a total population of 92,000 inhabitants in the beginning of 2013. This includes not only the city of Orihuela, but also the coastal tourist centre (urbanización turística) of Dehesa de Campoamor with 33,277 inhabitants (2013) and a few other villages.
The river Segura flows through the city. The city was settled by Romans who called it Orcelis and subsequently Aurariola.

What are the things to do in Spain? There is a great choice of things to do here, but today let`s go to the mountains close to Torrevieja. Here, in Tarbena, we visited a very nice and a bit unusual restaurant with amazing scenery around and spectacular view on the mountains.
This place is opened 3 times a week, from 2 pm till the end of the dinner. We left at 7pm being in very good mood and with a firm intention to come back again and again.
There are no waiters, good-natured restaurant owners serve you with a kind and sincere smile. A great married couple who owns this restaurant had lots of surprises for guests. Meals are prepared with organic products that grow or produce in the locality. There is no a certain recipe for the meals. Hennie (the owner and the chef of the restaurant) is an artist and every dish is made by inspiration and with all her heart. You can see the scenery and the dishes in video, but to be honest, the reality is much better.
Still thinking on things to do in Spain? Come to Torrevieja and have the best vacation here visiting many interesting places around. There are about 130 km from Torrevieja to that restaurant. While you driving there, you can watch VERY nice scenery around. The road to Tarbena is very interesting with lots of surprises from Mother Nature.

The best places of Los Alcazares
Los Alcázares is a small, but expanding coastal spa town and former fishing village on the western side of the Mar Menor in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain.
The Mar Menor (little sea) belongs to three other municipalities: San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena and is Europe's largest saltwater lagoon. Connected to the adjacent Mediterranean sea by several channels, the Mar Menor has a surface area of almost 20 km² and the fact that it is typically 2-4 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, makes it a very popular destination for sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and other water sports enthusiasts. Los Alcazares beaches holds blue flag awards in recognition of the cleanliness and maintenance of the beaches along the Mar Menor. The award is given annually by the Institute for Spanish Tourism.
