Oromocto is a Canadian town in Sunbury County, New Brunswick. This town is located on the west bank of the Saint John River at the mouth of the Oromocto River, approximately 20 kilometres southeast of Fredericton. The town's name is derived from the name of the Oromocto River; oromocto is thought to have originated from the Maliseet word welamukotuk which means deep water. It is the administrative headquarters of the Oromocto First Nation band government and the site of Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, which dominates its economy and modern history.

Fundy National Park is located on the Bay of Fundy, near the village of Alma, New Brunswick. The Park showcases a rugged coastline which rises up to the Canadian Highlands, the highest tides in the world and more than 25 waterfalls. The Park covers an area of 207 km2 along Goose Bay, the northwestern branch of the Bay of Fundy. When one looks across the Bay, they can see the northern Nova Scotia coast. At low tide, park visitors can explore the ocean floor where a variety of sea creatures cling to life. At high tide, the ocean floor disappears under 15 m of salt water. St. Martins is a village on the Bay of Fundy in Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada. The village was founded as Quaco by 1783 by soldiers from the disbanded loyalist King’s Orange Rangers. It was incorporated in 1967. Led by shipbuilders such as James Moran, it was the third most productive shipbuilding town in the Maritimes, producing over 500 ships. Bass fishing on the Miramichi River - New Brunswick, Canada

The Miramichi River is famous for fly fishing. Traditionally this pertains to Atlantic Salmon, but in recent years the population of striped bass has risen to unprecedented levels. No license required, this 3 week open season for fishing stripers has become quite the spectacle in Eastern Canada.

This year marked the inaugural Miramichi Striper Cup which has already proven itself to be a classic in the making. There are so many striped bass that the law has been put into effect that anyone with a fishing rod is permitted to keep 1 bass per day during the fishing season.
