Tractor Pulling Ospedaletto Euganeo 2018 - ITPO - Explosions, Flames & Pure Sound!
The first stage of 2018 Italian tractor pulling championship was a highly anticipated return and took place at the Ospedaletto Euganeo (Pd) track. Many tractors during the winter have undergone radical changes while new ones have been added. With a line-up of competitors not yet complete we have witnessed a very promising performance of the Coyote and Starlight Express 3 in the Modified 2.5t category, the Toro by Team Ancarani in the Prostock class and between the trucks, the Sniper and the 2017 champion Brio by Team Bacchilega are already in great shape. In the Heavy Modified class, all 3 competitors appeared competitive with a test of strength by Tornado 2. Beautiful and fierce the new Farm Stock category that in 2018 will give great satisfaction thank to Nafta Power Team and Team Franceschin. As you can see the twists were not missed, wishing the Fordino to return soon competitive after the intercooler burst during its qualifying session. I want to thanks the ITPO organization ( Mauro Stella, Erica d'Amora and all the guys that allow me to film the race and spend another pleasant Sunday! La prima tappa 2018 del campionato Italiano di tractor pulling è stata un ritorno molto atteso e si è svolta presso la pista di Ospedaletto Euganeo (Pd). Per tutti i mezzi è stata la prima tirata ufficiale del'anno e molti di loro durante l'inverno hanno subito cambiamenti radicali mentri nuove macchine si sono aggiunte. Con una line-up di concorrenti non ancora al completo abbiamo assistito a preformance molto promettenti del Coyote e dello Starlight Express 3 nella categoria Libero 2,5t, il Toro Blu del Team ancarani della categoria Prostock e tra i camion lo Sniper ed il campione Brio del Team Bacchilega sono già in grande forma. Nella classe Heavy Modified tutti e 3 i concorrenti sono apparsi competitivi con una prova di forza da parte del Tornado 2. Bella ed agguerrita la nuova categoria Farm Stock che nel 2018 regalerà grandi soddisfazioni targate Nafta Power Team e Team Franchin. Come potrete vedere i colpi di scena non sono mancati augurando al Fordino di tornare presto competitivo dopo lo scoppio dell'intercooler in classe Pro Stock. Misano European Truck Championship 2018 Highlights - Truck on Fire, Huge Flames, Accidents & More!
The gorgeous truck races on the Misano circuit by the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, the only Italian stage, are becoming, in my opinion, an unmissable appointment. I needed only a few minutes to remember how beautiful this event is, an unconventional kind of motorsport where passion and big truck fighting wheel to wheel! This 2018 edition gave us a wonderful weather and the Saturday races were really nice, full of accidents (truck on fire...) and problems. Enjoy this highlight video and see you next year!
Le splendide gare dei camion sulla pista di Misano per il FIA European Truck racing Championship, unica tappa italiana stanno diventando, per quel che mi riguarda, un appuntamento fisso ed immancabile. Mi son serviti pochi minuti per ricordare quanto è bello questo ambiente, un tipo non convenzionale di motorsport fatto di tanta passione e grandiosi bisonti che combattono come se fossero gare di auto nel campionato Turismo! L'edizione 2018 ci ha regalato delle giornate splendide e calde. Le gare del Sabato sono state belle e tirate fino all'ultimo con colpi di scena come il camion Cecoslovacco che ha preso fuoco. Godetevi questo highlight ed arrivederci al prossimo anno!

Tractor Pulling Italy 2017 - Powerful Engines, Turbo Sounds, Flames, Show & More!!
Yesterday I went to record my very first Tractor Pulling event. It's also called Power Pulling or Truck and Tractor Pulling and it's a very old motorsport widely popular in the US, Germany, Denmark, Nederlands and Australia.
It consists in modified tractors and trucks that have to pull a heavy sled (each class have its own wheigt to pull) along a 100 mt (330 foot) long track. Pulling the sled for the whole track is called a full pull and the tractor that pulls the sled the farthest distance is declared the winner. If more than one competitor reaches the full pull mark, a pull-off is held to determine a winner.
The sled contains a box filled with weight that is mechanically winched forward as the sled progresses along the course. As it is pulled down the track, the weight is transferred from over the rear axles and towards the front of the sled so the farther the tractor pulls the sled, the more difficult it gets.
Tractor pulling is known as the world's most powerful motorsport, due to the multi-engined modified tractors.
This video I made contains only the qualifying pulls and it's from the 3rd round of the Italian Tractor Pulling Championship held in Agazzino. The type of terrain was really challenging so I couldn't appreciate the real power of some of this monsters, forced to leave the throttle soon in order to avoid breakages, damages or other heavy failures. Hope you like it beacuse I'm quite in love with what I saw and hear, just like that flutter at 6:13, those flames at 8:10, that triple engined monster (each engine is a 28-litre V12 engine with around 3000 hp...) or those mighty trucks!
---I'm sorry but I don't know the exact specs and classes of each machine but I place the scenes in chronological order, starting with the less powerful class, than Pro Stock class (from 5:17 to 8:32), the heavily modified monsters (8:35 to 11:56) and finally the truck class.
D&D Star Team - The Joker (8:39) is powered by a Curtiss Wright R3350 radial 18 cylinders engine, same engine of the B-29 bomber with more than 3000hp.
Splendido Team - Sota Spirit (9:25) has a double Chevrolet 540 Big Block Superharged engines.
Team Turbo 2000 - Tornado 2 (9:56) is powered by three Allison 28-litre V12 aircraft engines with 3000hp each.
Rocco Power Team - Four NoHemi (11:28) powered by four Hemi 8.6-litre supercharged V8 engines with a combined power around 10,000 hp.

The first stage of the 2017 Italian tractor pulling championship took place at the Bologna North Park park Arena. 18 tractors came out on the track giving a great night show. Like happened in the past years, the heavy modified 4,2t category was the most spectacular and battled with a final fight between the Tornado 2 by Team Turbo 2000 and the ever-competitive FourNoHemi by Rocco Power Team. Nice surprise also to see the Austrian team who came with the great and spectacular Aspirateur moved by three helicopter turbines. Among the beautiful pulls I want remember the great Coyote performance that after years of work has begun to show its remarkable potential and congrats to Chiggiato and his Tanko Truck which in this first official race have impressed everyone. I want to thanks the ITPO organization ( Mauro Stella, Erica d'Amora and all the guys that allow me to film the race and spend another pleasant Sunday! Un applauso al team Austriaco che si è presentato con il mitico e spettacolare Aspirateur mosso da tre turbine da elicottero. Fra le bellissime tirate voglio segnalare quella del Coyote che dopo anni di lavoro ha iniziato a mostrare il suo notevole potenziale e complimenti a Chiggiato ed al truck Tanko che come prima gara ufficiale ha lasciato tutti favorevolmente colpiti. Tanto divertimento, sfiammate ed impennate che son convinto siano piaciute al pubblico. Ringrazio l'organizzazione di ITPO ( Mauro Stella, Erica d'Amora e tutti i ragazzi per avermi concesso di filmare la gara e passare un'altra piacevole Domenica! Tractor Pulling Cervarese Santa Croce 2017 - ITPO - Pure Sound!
The second stage of the 2017 Italian tractor pulling championship took place at Cervarese Santa Croce Pulling Arena. Over 20 tractors cames to giving a great night show. Like happened in the past years, the heavy modified 4,2t category was the most spectacular and battled with a final fight between the Tornado 2 by Team Turbo 2000 and the ever-competitive FourNoHemi by Rocco Power Team. Nice surprise also to see the German team owners of the great and spectacular Best Solution who usually run in the Super Stock category, something not yet present in Italy. Among the beautiful pulls I want remember the great performance of all trucks present with new entries like Tornado and Sniper, both competitive. Congrats to Chiggiato and his Tanko Truck which in this second official race have impressed everyone. I want to dedicate this video to Manuel and Andrea, our two friends which unfortunately have flown to heaven too soon...

La seconda tappa 2017 del campionato Italiano di tractor pulling è stata un ritorno molto atteso e si è svolta presso la formidabile arena di Cervarese Santa Croce (Pd). Oltre 20 mezzi si sono presentati al via dando uno spettacolo molto bello in notturna e come già era capitato in passato la categoria Libero 42 è stata la più spettacolare e battagliata con una prova finale di forza fra il ritrovato Tornado 2 del Team Turbo 2000 ed il sempre competitivo FourNoHemi del Rocco Power Team. Un applauso al team Tedesco che si è presentato con lo spettacolare Best Solutio, trattore che gareggia nella categoria Super Stock attualmente non presente in Italia. Stiamo parlando di un mezzo da 3.500 cv alimentato a Metanolo... Fra le bellissime tirate voglio segnalare quelle dei truck, ben 5 presenti a questa gara con un paio di new entry subito competitivi come il Tornado e lo Sniper. Complimenti a Chiggiato ed al truck Tanko che come seconda gara ufficiale hanno nuovamente lasciato tutti favorevolmente colpiti. Tanto divertimento, sfiammate ed impennate che son convinto siano piaciute al pubblico. Questo video è dedicato agli amici Manuel ed Andrea che purtroppo ci hanno prematuramente lasciato. Trucks - Ahoy European Superpull Tractor Pulling 2018 - Highlights, Power & Pure Sound!
Finally, I'm very happy to show you the videos from the 40th 2018 European Superpull, the biggest and most important Trucks/tractor pulling indoor race held every year at the Ahoy arena in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands. I have to thank the organization for allowing me to follow all the races, with 8 different categories and about 60 pullers. An incredible event, divided into two shows, the first one from 12.00 to 16.30 p.m. and the last in the evening from 19.00 to 23.00 p.m. This video, third of many you'll see, is a special dedicated to the Trucks class that saw De manne van Janne 2 (Scania) win the race on 60 meters with an impressive 66.35 meters Pull Off. Thanks to ITPO ( and the photographer Max ( with whom I shared the trip. Enjoy ;-)
Sono molto felice di proporvi finalmente i video del 40th European Superpull 2018, la più grande ed importante gara di Tractor/Trucks pulling indoor che ogni anno si tiene all'arena di Ahoy nella città di Rotterdam, Olanda. Ringrazio l'organizzazione per avermi permesso di seguire tutte le gare, con ben 8 categorie diverse per un totale di circa 60 macchine impiegate. Uno spettacolo incredibile, diviso in due show, quello del pomeriggio dalle 12:00 alle 16:30 e quello serale dalle 19:00 alle 23:00. Questo video, il terzo di tanti che vedrete è uno speciale dedicato alla classe Trucks che ha visto trionfare De Manne Van Janne 2 (Scania) chiudendo la gara sui 60 metri con un'impressionante Pull Off di 62,78 metri. Un ringraziamento agli amici ed organizzatori di ITPO ( ed al fotografo Max ( con cui ho condiviso la trasferta. Vi auguro una buona visione ;-)
