The unincorporated community of Paicines, formerly Tres Pinos, is located at 680 feet above mean sea level in San Benito County, California along State Route 25. Guide signs along SR 25 say the community is 13 miles south of Hollister. The community is at the intersection of Panoche Road and SR 25. Bolado County Park is just over three miles north of the community and the site of the San Benito County Fair. Hydrologic features in the area include Tres Pinos Creek, the San Benito River, and the Paicines Reservoir. The area is in the San Andreas Rift Zone area in proximity to the San Andreas Fault. Visit to the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, California

Here is a quick tour of the Reagan Ranch Center Exhibit Galleries in this 22,000 sq ft facility next to the Amtrak station on State Street in Santa Barbara. Here you will find personal items and artifacts on display from Reagan's Santa Barbara ranch, Rancho del Cielo. Interactive and interesting exhibits. A nice complement to displays at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. One neat item on display is a 1981 blue Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 given by Nancy Reagan to the President on April 2, 1983 as a late birthday present.
