PUERTO PENASCO - ROCKY POINT MEXICO || 5 MUST-DO THINGS || FULL-TIME RV LIVING
5 Must-Do Things when visiting Puerto Peñasco- Rocky Point Mexico. Puerto Peñasco is on the beautiful Sea of Cortez and is one of Mexico's best kept vacation and destination secrets. Arizonan's affectionately call this place Arizona's Beach due it's close proximity to Phoenix. Traveling to Rocky Point, Puerto Penasco, Mexico is an easy 4 hour drive. In 2019, Rocky Point - Puerto Penasco will soon have it's first cruise ship arrive in the newly constructed Puerto Penasco cruise ship port. We are long time visitors to Rocky Point, Mexico and have spent many years enjoying the 6 things highlighted in this video. All come highly recommended. Don't let the media hype scare you away from traveling to Mexico! Puerto Penasco relies heavily on tourism and the people of Rocky Point have gone out of their way to make visitors feel safe!
Recreation and accommodations abound in Puerto Penasco - Rocky Point! Ocean activities, beach activities, resort and RV accommodations are plentiful. We like to stay at Playa Bonita Rv park whenever we visit Rocky Point. This used to be a quiet shrimping village that has grown significantly in the last 30 years; however, the Mexican beaches are clean, the accommodations are outstanding and the restaurants and bars are dishing out fun and enjoyment. Puerto Penasco's water is a turquoise blue and the beaches are a light, soft colored sand. You can find vendors selling everything from Mexican Pina Colada's to Blankets on the beach. If you're hungry, just wait, someone selling authentic Mexican empanadas or burritos will be by to satisfy your hunger. This one of the nicest and cleanest Mexican Beaches around.
We've been coming to Rocky Point - Puerto Penasco for over 40 years and have seen the growth take place in this sleepy village. Most of all, we've seen how accommodating and welcoming the Mexican citizens of Puerto Penasco have been to all visitors. We are full time RV'ers and made this our first stop on our full time RV journey. The best times to visit Rocky Point are May and October, but the rest of the year is good too. It's a true gem and one of Mexico's best kept secrets! We hope you'll enjoy coming to Puerto Penasco, Rocky Point, Mexico as much as we do and we look forward to the first cruise ship to arrive in Rocky Point.
Our favorite hangouts in Rocky Point are: JJ's Cantina, Manny's Beach Club and Wrecked at the Reef.

Day Trip to Tijuana - DOWNTOWN VIDEO TOUR (Tijuana, Mexico)
We decided to hop the mexican border and visit Tijuana for the day! Most of the places we visited I made a seperate video for them, so this is what I am left with! The video features downtown Tijuana, some of the markets, performers and also some of the crazy houses (Well what is left of them! xD)
---
Tijuana ( tee-WHAH-nə; Spanish: [tiˈxwana]) is the largest city in the Mexican state of Baja California and on the Baja California Peninsula, located at the center of the Tijuana and the international San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan areas. As one of the largest and fastest growing cities of Mexico, Tijuana exerts a strong influence on local economics, education, culture, art, and politics. As the city has become a leading center in the country, so has the surrounding metropolitan area, a major industrial and paramount metropolis in northwestern Mexico. Currently one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in Mexico, Tijuana maintains global city status. As of 2015, the city of Tijuana had a population of 1,641,570.
Tijuana is located on the Gold Coast of Baja California, and is the municipal seat and the cultural and commercial center of Tijuana Municipality. Tijuana covers 70% of the municipality but contains over 80% of its population. A dominant manufacturing center of the North American continent, the city maintains facilities of many multinational conglomerate companies. In the early 21st century, Tijuana became the medical-device manufacturing capital of North America. Tijuana is also a growing cultural center and has been recognized as an important new cultural mecca. The city is the most visited border city in the globe; sharing a border of about 24 km (15 mi) with its sister city San Diego. More than fifty million people cross the border between these two cities every year. This metropolitan crossing makes the San Ysidro Port of Entry the busiest land-border crossing in the world. It is estimated that the two border crossing stations between the cities proper of San Diego and Tijuana account for 300,000 daily border crossings alone.
Tijuana is the 45th largest city in the Americas and is the westernmost city in Mexico. According to the 2015 census, the Tijuana metropolitan area was the fifth-largest in Mexico, with a population of 1,840,710, but rankings vary, the city (locality) itself was 6th largest and the municipality (administrative) 3rd largest nationally. The international metropolitan region was estimated to be about 5,158,459 in 2016, making it the third largest metropolitan area in the former Californias region, 19th largest metropolitan area in the Americas, and the largest bi-national conurbation that is shared between US and Mexico. Tijuana is becoming more suburbanized like San Diego.
Tijuana traces its modern history to the arrival of Spanish explorers in the 16th century who were mapping the coast of the Californias. As the American conquest of northern Mexico ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, Tijuana's new international position on the border gave rise to a new economic and political structure. The city was founded on July 11, 1889 as urban development began. Often known by its supposed initials, T.J., and nicknamed Gateway to Mexico, the city has historically served as a tourist center dating back to the 1880s.

A place for the whole family .A pool for adults only and one for the family. Three à la carte restaurants are all very much for the food, cleanliness and service with a smile. Amalfi Italian restaurant, international food restaurant and Pergola las Palomas Mexican restaurant .Casa Bella a buffet for lunch and also open for lunch and evening. He is also in place some of the gelato ice cream. Other crusts small breaks are available near the beach and especially near the Casa Bella, the Pizzeta dei Forni which is important not to miss. The accessibility for the elderly is very well and are very well supported by the staff .We had a room in the B block. Blocks A and B are new. Toilets and bars near the pools, easily accessible and clean.
I loved this place and will return for sure.
If you want to make tours there is a very good choice. I strongly suggest you first: Rhythms of the Night which represents flolklore past civilizations .A spectacle mounted with Cirque du Soleil .You go to the hotel by taxi for about 10 minutes and you get to the Marina. You take the boat for about 50 minutes to get to Las Catelas to see a show associated with Cirque du Soleil. A buffet dinner awaits you on the waterfront buffet style and served with wine. Unforgettable evening under the stars. In Las Caletas there is no electricity. Everything is illuminated with torches as in ancient civilizations. What a wonderful place.
Our second choice was the tour of Puerto Vallarta city tour .
Unforgettable evening under the stars .
Mexico's Cutest Beach Town | Exploring Sayulita
The first thing you notice when you arrive in Sayulita is the VIBE. This little Mexican beach town has soaked up the energy of the laid-back surfers and sunbathers you see everywhere. Surfboards and bare feet are common sights, as well as golf carts which are the town’s main form of transportation. Sayulita is friendly, walkable, and chilled out. There’s a charm you feel from the people and colourful flags that hang above the narrow streets. Sayulita is a Pueblo Magico, a special designation given to places in Mexico that have a distinct cultural identity. Mexico is full of colour to begin with, but Sayulita is one of the most colourful towns I’ve visited in the whole country. When everywhere you look is bright and cheerful, you can’t help but feel bright and cheerful yourself.
