Piedicavallo is a comune in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres northeast of Turin and about 15 kilometres northwest of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 189 and an area of 17.8 square kilometres .Piedicavallo borders the following municipalities: Andorno Micca, Bioglio, Callabiana, Campiglia Cervo, Gaby, Pettinengo, Rosazza, Sagliano Micca, Tavigliano, Valle Mosso, Valle San Nicolao.
