Pogradec is a city and municipality in central Albania, situated on the shores the Ohrid lake. The lake is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes. It is located in the County of Korçë. This city is surrounded by hills on the southern and western side. The lake is in the eastern and northern side of the city. The highway linking to Tirana, Elbasan and Korçë passes through the city. It is located southeast of Elbasan, southwest of Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia, north of Korçë and northwest of Florina in Greece.   • 1. National Ethnographic Museum Berat Berat
    The National Ethnographic Museum of Berat is a ethnographic museum located in Berat, Albania. It opened in 1979 and contains a diversity of everyday objects from throughout Berat's history. The museum contains original furniture and a number of household objects, wooden case, wall-closets, as well as chimneys and a well. Near the well is an olive press, wool press and many large ceramic dishes, revealing a glimpse of the historical domestic culture of Berat's citizens. The ground floor has a hall with a model of a medieval street with traditional shops on both sides and on the second floor is an archive, loom, village sitting room, kitchen and sitting room.

  • 2. National Museum of Medieval Art Korce
    The National Museum of Medieval Art is an Albanian national museum dedicated to medieval art and history in Korçë, Albania. The museum is located on Fan Noli Boulevard in the south-east of the city of Korça. It was established on April 24, 1980 and the building was reconstructed on October 04, 2016 with the cooperation of the city municipality and the Greek Government found.The museum has over 7,000 art and cultural items, mainly icons, stone, wooden, metal and textile works representing various moments in Albania's iconography development. In the principal hall there are many works from anonymous artists of the 13th-14th century and well-known ones including Onufri, Onufër Qiprioti, Teacher Kostandini, Jeromak Shpataraku, David Selenica, and the Zografi Brothers.
