Porcupine Plain is a town in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is accessed by Highway 23. Greenwater Lake Provincial Park is 5 kilometres southwest on Highway 38. The town is located within the Porcupine Provincial Forest. The town was originally settled by returning World War I veterans who settled in the area during the early 1920s. Quilly Willy is the town mascot used on promotional material. Porcupine Plain is the hometown of Calgary Hitmen play-by-play man Brad Curle and the company Sweet Pure Honey.

Nipawin is a town in north-east Saskatchewan, Canada, on the Saskatchewan River portion of Tobin Lake. The town lies between Codette Lake, created by the Francois-Finlay Dam and Tobin Lake, created by the E.B. Campbell Dam built in 1963, renamed from Squaw Rapids. The construction of Francois-Finlay Dam earned Nipawin the nickname, The Town of Two Lakes. It drains a very large area, about 3,861,400 km2 , that includes parts of southeastern Nunavut, Saskatchewan, most of Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and indirectly through smaller passages of water to parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana. Hudson Bay's southern arm is called James Bay. The Eastern Cree name for Hudson and James Bay is Wînipekw or Wînipâkw , meaning muddy or brackish water. In northeast Saskatchewan, a little ways south of Creighton and Denare Beach, the ground opens up as if it were smashed by a million-tonne sledge hammer. The crevices in the limestone sink so deep that in some instances sunlight will never reach the bottom. Visiting this beautiful corner of Saskatchewan was a 1,100 kilometre round trip from my home in Saskatoon - big thanks to CAA Saskatchewan for keeping my wheels spinning. What does snow look like? Snow falling and snow on tree and ground and snow storm

For those in the world that may have never seen snow fall before! Not for my regular subscribers and followers, just put this out for the sake of putting it out. I once was told when I was a kid that there were people throughout the world that have never seen snow or snow falling from the sky. I had forgotten all about this, until my daughter reminded me of this fact. I had to upload this quick video, the short clips filmed from the 1st of November to the 9th in and around Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Canada since then we have gotten a lot more snow and it now is almost knee high. There's a few video clips of light snow fall out my windows and again after some time for it to build up. Also got some random stuff like cleaning off the car and truck windows with a brush and wind shield wipers. Also one good clip looking down a road while in my car in a good snow storm near Porcupine Plain Saskatchewan. Most of north america gets snow and don't know of any place in Canada that doesn't have even a little bit of snow fall.
