STREETS OF PAK NAM | Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
This is the streets of Pak Nam in Samut Prakan province in Thailand.
Pak Nam is a small fishing town in Samut Prakan, Thailand. Samut Prakan is at the mouth of the Chao Phraya and Pak Nam in Thai means, mouth of a river.
It is a very localized area and not many tourists frequent this place. But hopefully with the newly extended BTS Skytrain that has just opened. It will bring more tourist to this area to help the local economy.
I actually like this area, it's somewhat busy, but not too overcrowded and the markets are pretty awesome.
Things here a quite cheap and you'll definitely be able to get your hand on some cheap fresh seafood.
HOW TO GET HERE
Take the BTS Skytrain to PAK NAM BTS STATION and walk south along PRAKHON CHAI RD. Keep to your right and the street will turn into SRI SAMUT RD.
This street is where you will find all the markets in Pak Nam.

There is really not much happening on this main road, except a lot of traffic passing through here.
The main hustle and bustle of this town is where the Pak Nam Market is. Which is right by the Pak Nam Market Ferry Pier.

PAK NAM MARKET | Pak Nam Market Pier In Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
Pak Nam market is a market that is sitting right by the Pak Nam Ferry Market Pier in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand.
This is actually a quite interesting and big market. Technically it is 3 different markets combined into one big market.
First, you have the Pak Nam Market, which sells clothes, utensils, and other household needs.
It then turns into a Pak Nam Fresh Market, where they sell all the meat and produce. But from what I saw, it mainly looks like all seafood. Which makes sense because this market is right by the harbor. So you'll definitely be able to get your hands on some fresh seafood and for cheap also.
Then right by the Pak Nam Fresh Market is Samut Prakan Market. Here you will find all your herbs and vegetables.
So this is the only place you'll need to go if you need to so do some grocery shopping in Pak Nam.
These markets are about 10-15min walk from Pak Nam BTS Station. Once you get off the BTS station, just head south and walk along Prakhon Chai Rd.
Prakhon Chai Rd will turn into Sri Samut Rd, keep following the road until you see Tharuea Vibun Si 2.
Turn right into that street and walk straight to the end and the market should be right in front of you.

Amazing Thailand - Buriram - Prasat Muang Tam
Prasat Muang Tam is located in the Buriram . It's around 374 kilometers from Bangkok to Prasat Muang Tam.
Prasat Muang Tam (Thai: ปราสาทเมืองต่ำ, RTGS: Prasat Mueang Tam, 'lowland castle') is a Khmer temple in Prakhon Chai district, Buri Ram Province, Thailand. It is primarily in the Khleang and Baphuon styles, which dates its primary phases of construction to the late 10th and early 11th centuries. The primary deity was Shiva, although Vishnu was also worshipped there.
Like most Khmer temples, Muang Tam is oriented towards the east. It has a flat concentric plan, with a central sanctuary and two libraries surrounded successively by an inner enclosure, ponds, and an outer enclosure. The ponds between the enclosures are an unusual feature of the temple, as is the central sanctuary, which is not elevated and has its towers arranged in rows of three and two rather than in a quincunx. All the towers except the central one have been restored.
Kala are particularly prominent in the lintels of the temple. They are the best available aid in dating the structure, but the mix of styles (Khleang and Baphuon) makes accurate dating impossible. Several of the lintels on the outer gopuras are unfinished.
A small baray, probably contemporaneous with the temple, lay to the east, while a later, larger baray survives further north between Muang Tam and Phanom Rung.

Hotel Amari Buriram United - Thailand 4K Travel Channel
We arrive in the dark in Buriram and are surprised about the modern impression of our hotel. Our hotel, the Hotel Amari Buriram United lies right next to the huge i-Mobile football stadium. We check in the modern lobby before we move into our room.
Everything seems very new and of the highest quality. This affects both the technical equipment, as well the sanitary facilities. The free WiFi is very fast.
Then we look for the in-house restaurant. This also makes a new impression. Even if at this time only a few guests spend the night here, we still get an excellent meal.
After dinner, we explore the courtyard of the hotel. The hotel encloses a small lawn, which might serve as a training ground. Right next to it is a nice pool where you can refresh yourself.
The hotel is the club hotel of Buriram United. The football club Buriram United has the same importance for Thailand as FC Bayern Munich for Germany. Buriram United plays an important role in the Thai leagues. They won the triple several times.
This also explains the high standard of the Hotel Amari Buriram United, opened in 2011. Finally, the football professionals want to stay overnight according to their social standards. In our opinion, the hotel is certainly one of the top hotels in Thailand. But we would only reluctantly stay here if a soccer team is accommodated at the same time. On this occasion, the hotel might be closed for the normal audience anyway.

Als wir bei Dunkelheit in Buriram eintreffen, sind wir über den modernen Eindruck unseres Hotels angenehm überrascht. Das Hotel Amari Buriram United liegt direkt neben dem riesigen i-Mobile Fußballstadion. Wir checken in der modernen Lobby ein, bevor wir unser Zimmer beziehen.
Es wirkt alles sehr neu und scheint von bester Qualität zu sein. Das betrifft sowohl das technische Equipment, als auch die Sanitäreinrichtungen. Das freie WLAN ist sehr schnell.
Danach suchen wir das hauseigenen Restaurant auf. Auch dieses macht einen neuen Eindruck. Es scheinen nicht sehr viele Gäste hier zu nächtigen, dennoch erhalten wir noch ein ausgezeichnetes Essen.
Nach dem Essen erkunden wir den Innenhof des Hotels. Das Hotel umschließt einen kleinen Rasen, der vermutlich als Trainingsgelände dient. Gleich daneben ist ein herrlicher Pool, in dem man sich erfrischen kann.
Langsam wird uns klar, dass dies das Vereinshotel von Buriram United ist.
Der Fußballclub Buriram United hat für Thailand die gleiche Bedeutung wie der FC Bayern München für Deutschland. Buriram United spielt in den Thailändischen Ligen eine bedeutende Rolle. Bereits mehrfach haben sie das Tripel gewonnen.
Dies erklärt auch den hohen Standard des 2011 eröffneten Hotels. Schließlich wollen die Fußballprofis standesgemäß wohnen. Aus unserer Sicht zählt das Hotel sicherlich zu den Spitzenhotels in Thailand, allerdings würden wir nur ungern hier übernachten, wenn gerade eine Fußballmannschaft einquartiert ist. Vielleicht ist dann das Hotel aber auch für das normale Publikum gesperrt.
