Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano in the Zambales Mountains, located on the tripoint boundary of the Philippine provinces of Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga, all in Central Luzon on the northern island of Luzon. Its eruptive history was unknown to most before the pre-eruption volcanic activities of 1991, just before June. Pinatubo was heavily eroded, inconspicuous and obscured from view. It was covered with dense forests which supported a population of several thousand indigenous Aetas. In this video, the focus of this short aerial documentary film was to capture the vicinity of our Barangay: Banga 1st and Banga 2nd of how our town's will drastically change in the near future. Also, to see a different point of view and unique perspective of a bird's eye view and only drone technology can deliver.

First Hostel Experience & Visit to EL NIDO, PHILIPPINES | PATGAT

Finally back in the beautiful island of Palawan! My past 2 visits were last 2009 in Puerto Princesa and Coron last 2013. For this trip, I finally get to experience the El Nido side of Palawan.

It was my first time to stay in a hostel as well and it was a new and fun experience for me. Mad Monkey hostel in Nacpan Beach was very chill, homey and the whole hostel was like a huge community. I'd love to go back and try their hostel in other provinces and countries in Asia on my next trips.

It's never a complete El Nido trip without doing the island hopping tours. For this trip, I was able to visit the islands in Tour A & D. I believe these are the top 2 chosen tour packages in El Nido and I am so grateful for the wonderful tour that was arranged by Northern Hope Tours. They are one of the top companies in El Nido that's why they have such a wide network when it comes to tours, boats, guides, etc.

Due to the limited time, which mostly was consumed by travel time and tours, I was only able to try 3 restaurants in the town proper. First was Altrove, an Italian restuarant. I loved their pizza and pasta! Second was Taste El Nido, a modern and chill cafe where I had some drinks and played some board games. And last was Amos Restaurant. It's a Filipino restaurant, fairly new (just opened March 2018). The food was good, enough serving for sharing and very comforting taste to anyone who is craving for Filipino food while in the island. Oh, and they also have their own tour company as well.

I will definitely be back in El Nido because there are so many more islands to explore plus I want to stay longer in Nacpan Beach because it's so beautiful!
