Costiera di Calafuria is an absolutely the place to visit. If you are in Livorno, you have to visit it. Enchanting power of the sea, that hits sandy shore of Tuscany, will catch your eye.

There's free parking on the roadside but get there early or you'll be driving round in circles for ages. Access to the free beach is via a short but steep and rocky path so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Wonderful site even if the road is often packed with cars and maintenance of the wild areas could be better. Unusual to find such a wonderful spot so close to a city.
