Rheinfelden is a municipality in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland, seat of the district of Rheinfelden. It is located 15 kilometres east of Basel. The name means the fields of the Rhine, as the town is located on the Hochrhein. It is home to Feldschlösschen, the most popular beer in Switzerland. The city is across the river from Rheinfelden in Baden-Württemberg; the two cities were joined until Napoleon Bonaparte fixed the German–Swiss border on the Rhine in 1802 and are still socially and economically tied.

The Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Switzerland and Europe.The falls are located on the High Rhine on the border between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich , between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and Laufen-Uhwiesen/Dachsen , next to the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland. They are 150 metres wide and 23 metres high. In the winter months, the average water flow is 250 m3/s , while in the summer, the average water flow is 600 m3/s . The highest flow ever measured was 1,250 cubic metres per second in 1965; and the lowest, 95 cubic metres per second in 1921.The falls can not be climbed by fish, except by eels that are able to eel their way up over the rocks.

Lake Brienz is a lake just north of the Alps, in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. It has a length of about 14 kilometres , a width of 2.8 kilometres and a maximum depth of 260 metres . Its area is 29.8 square kilometres , and the surface is 564 metres above the sea-level. It is fed, among others, by the upper reaches of the Aare at its eastern end, the Giessbach at its southern shore from steep, forested and rocky hills of the high Faulhorn and Schwarzhoren more than 2,000 metres above the lake, and by the Lütschine, flowing from the valleys of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, at its south-western corner. Ballenberg is an open-air museum in Switzerland that displays traditional buildings and architecture from all over the country. Located near Brienz in the municipality of Hofstetten bei Brienz, Canton of Bern, Ballenberg has over 100 original buildings that have been transported from their original sites. In addition to the main attraction of the buildings themselves, some of the industrial and crafting buildings still operate to give demonstrations of traditional rural crafts, techniques and cheesemaking. There is also a sizable number of farmyard animals in the grounds.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Rheinfelden in Baden in der Alte Landstraße und dann weiter in die Friedrichstraße bis zur Kirche St. Josef. Anschließend geht es zurück bis zur Kronenstraße und dann weiter in die Karl Fürstenberg Straße. Am Oberrheinplatz gehen wir in den Kapuzinerweg und dann vor bis zum Friedrichplatz.

Bazylea (Basel) położona jest nad rzeką Ren na styku granic Szwajcarii, Niemiec i Francji. Bazylea po Zurychu i Genewie jest trzecim co do wielkości miastem Szwajcarii. Miasto dzieli się na Małą Bazyleę (Kleinbasel) na prawym i Wielką Bazyleę (Grossbasel) ze Wzgórzem Katedralnym (Münsterberg) na lewym brzegu Renu. Katedra wzniesiona z rozkazu cesarza Henryka II i cesarzowej Kunegundy konsekrowana była w 1019 r. i stanowi zabytek sztuki romańskiej i gotyckiej. Katedra ma dwie smukłe wieże (św. Jerzego i św. Marcina) zwieńczone ażurowymi elementami. W katedrze znajduje się miejsce spoczynku Erazma z Rotterdamu. Centrum miasta jest starówka w Wielkiej Bazylei wokół Rynku i ratusza z XIV w. Ratusz znajduje się przy Marktplatz, gdzie od wieków rozkładają się stragany handlowe. Wpływ na niepowtarzany klimat miasta mają barokowe kamieniczki i domy rzemieślników. XIV-wieczna brama miejska Spalentor uznawana jest za jedną z najpiękniejszych bram w Szwajcarii. Do Małej Bazylei na drugi brzeg Renu można przepłynąć promem przez cały rok.
