Uruguay is emerging as one of South America’s favorite destinations. Its capital Montevideo has a warm, temperate climate, pleasant sea breezes and miles of boulevards.
From Montevideo’s Telecommunications Tower you can see the hill that gave the city its name.
Another tower, the Palacio Salvo looms high above the Plaza Independencia in the City Center. Under this square is the mausoleum for the country’s revolutionary hero José Artigas.
Nearby Plaza Matriz is the city’s oldest square and home to the 18th-century Metropolitan Cathedral, the focal point of Uruguay’s Old Town.
Soccer is big here and in 1930 Uruguay hosted and won the first-ever FIFA World Cup in the Estadio Centenario.
Another proud local tradition is “parrilla and the best way to try it is to buy cuts of meat in the Mercado del Puerto, and have those cooked for you on the spot.
The 19-mile long promenade, La Rambla leads to the city’s favorite playground: De Los Pocitos Beach.
To the west along the river is the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Colonia del Sacramento, with its landmark lighthouse, sleepy Plaza de Armas, historic Portón de Campo and atmospheric Street of Sighs.
To the east of Montevideo, if you follow the coast, is Piriápolis. This beach resort offers great views from its hilltop San Antonio Temple.
The next highlight on this road trip is the lighthouse of La Paloma on the Cabo de Santa María peninsula.
On your way to the lighthouse of Punta del Este, don’t miss eccentric Casapueblo, a wonderful hotel and art gallery designed by local artist Carlos Páez Vilaró in Punta Ballena.
Uruguay may be small, but its big heart and relaxing vibe create a lifetime of memories.

Eating the best Ice Cream in the world in Buenos Aires!
If you come to Buenos Aires you have to try the ice cream! It is just in a league of its own in terms of quality and taste. Our favorite spot (Freddo) is a chain you'll find all over the city. The one we visited for this video was nearby the Recoleta Cemetery. You pretty much can't go wrong with any of the flavors but our two favorites are anything with dulce de leche and creamy forest berries. Come find out if the gelato in Buenos Aires is even better than the stuff we tried in Italy.

Eating the best Ice Cream in the world in Buenos Aires Travel Video Transcript:
That was a long wait but we've got ourselves some ice cream.
Well, was that worth the wait? Yes, it sure was. So this video is about ice cream because Buenos Aires has some of the best ice cream we have ever tried. And our favorite place to go to is Freddo. We found this place towards the start of our visit and we've been coming like every other day. Hahaha. Shoosh. Don't tell anyone.
Um, but yeah, so we ended up getting some ice cream this afternoon. And what you see here is a quarter of a kilo. So this is 250 grams of ice cream and you get to choose three flavors.
So this one here is Forest berries. Look at that. Mmmm.
And that is actually my favorite flavor at Freddo. I order it every time I come here. And it is like really thick and creamy and it has a rich vanilla flavor but it also has chunks of real fruit. And I couldn't tell you what the forest berries are. I don't know if it is blackberries or blueberries. It could be anything.
As for the flavors, I'm having raspberry, and this is like a raspberry sorbet so it is a little bit watery instead of being like creamy.
And on this side for my third flavor I chose strawberry. Some might say that is a little boring but whatever. I like strawberry.
But my favorite has got to be this one on the side. Forest berry for the win.
And all of Sam's flavors have dulce de leche because he just loves that schizz.
I eat way too much dulce de leche. Yeah, I think I'm going to by the time I go back to Canada I'm going to be experiencing withdrawal symptoms so. Okay, so there is three different kinds. So first let's go for the classic dulce de leche. That is just pure dulce de leche.
Mmmmm. Oh, that is amazing. So rich, so creamy, sweet and a little bit salty too. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's kind of cool that they add a little bit of salt because sometimes that helps the sweetness come through.
Oh, this one is really thick. This is the brownie one? This is dulce de leche with chunks of brownie. Dulce de leche con brownie. That is like major chunks.
Okay, and let's go in for the third bite. Now this is the one I'm curious to try because I've never tried this. I really like both of these flavors. This is coconut and dulce de leche.
Well, we sure had no trouble finishing that off. Yeah, when it comes to ice cream there is not going to be any left on the table that is for sure. Yeah, and now the big question is what makes Argentinian ice cream so delicious? There must be some secret recipes over here. It is just extra creamy. Yeah, I think it is the quality of ingredients. I think it is the cream that they use, I think it is the attention to detail. I find that the flavors are really creamy and rich but there is not an over amount of sugar. It tastes natural. They've just really got the formula down. And it just it really is world class ice cream and gelato. It is the best. You've got to try it. I think it is better than the stuff we've tried in Italy. Like that is incredible. Woah. Now that is putting it out there.
Okay, and let's talk about price point. We had a quarter of a kilo. Those cups were 250 grams and that was 85 Pesos each. Yeah, so you're looking at like close to maybe $6 US dollars. So not cheap but you're coming here to pay for quality. This place is like the best of the best. Yeah, you could get cheaper ice cream but this is really good. Yeah, but why would you want to do that. Yeah, splurge a little. Exactly, go here and get three different kinds.

Haciendo Empanadas + Picada Argentina + Fernet con Coca! | Platos Típicos Argentinos
¡Bienvenidos a otro video! Hoy vamos a preparar 4 variedades de empanadas. Si llevan un poco de tiempo siguiendo este canal, ustedes ya saben que mi padre y yo solemos filmar videos preparando asados argentinos, pero como ha estado lloviendo acá en Canadá y el tiempo no estaba muy lindo, decidimos preparar unos platos típicos argentinos. Hoy vamos a probar una picada argentina, 4 tipos de empanadas, y el famoso fernet con coca.
Las 4 empanadas que preparamos fueron:
1) Empanadas de pollo
2) Empanadas de carne al cuchillo
3) Empanadas de mariscos
4) Empanadas de guayaba y queso
Estas empanadas son inspiradas por una mezcla de recetas argentinas, peruanas, y chilenas. Hicimos las empanadas al horno y salieron bien ricas.
Pero antes de empezar a hacer las empanadas, preparamos una linda picada con 4 tipos de salames (salame gitano, salame con vino italiano, salame con pimienta, y salama calabrese), 3 tipos de quesos (queso brie, queso cheddar y queso marinado en vino merlot), aceitunas (verdes con almendras y negras), pan casero con tocino, y alcachofas.
También finalmente conseguimos fernet (algo que llevamos bastante tiempo buscando), así que en este video probamos un poco de fernet con coca como se lo toma en Córdoba. Y aparte de eso, tambien degustamos un vino argentino y un vino chileno.
Por supuesto, mi padre también comparte historias de su vida y su niñez en Argentina, así que esperamos que lo disfruten.

Rincón de guayabitos, qué hacer y como llegar a la Isla del Coral
Rincón de Guayabitos es una de las playas más populares de la Rivera Nayarit, acompáñanos a ver por qué vale la pena visitar Rincón de Guayabitos, sigue leyendo la descripción del video para encontrar enlaces e información de los lugares que mencionamos en el video.
-¿Cómo llegar a Rincón de Guayabitos?
El aeropuerto más cercano a Rincón de Guayabitos es:
Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta (PVR)
Para conseguir vuelos económicos a Puerto Vallarta visita:
Para llegar a Rincón de Guayabitos desde Puerto Vallarta debes tomar la carretera Puerto Vallarta-Tepic está a casi 70 km y el tiempo del trayecto es como una hora veinte minutos aproximadamente.
Recuerda que en Rincón de Guayabitos es una hora menos que en Puerto Vallarta.
-¿Cómo llegar a Rincón de Guayabitos en transporte público?
Toma el autobús desde la terminal de Vallarta que dice La peñita, si viajas ligero, puedes bajarte del autobús en Guayabitos, o si traes mucho equipaje, tendrás que bajarte hasta la Peñita de Jaltemba y tomar un taxi hacia tu hospedaje.
-¿Dónde hospedarse?
Nosotros nos hospedamos en un Airbnb de San Pancho y esta ocasión fue algo completamente diferente. Una casa rodante adaptada para 4 personas. Con cocina, aire acondicionado, baño completo y camas bastante cómodas. Ubicada en la calle principal de San Pancho que te lleva hacia la playa.
Si aún no conoces Airbnb y quieres rentar ésta habitación visita nuestro blog para que te lleves un descuento en tu primera noche.

-¿Qué hacer en Rincón de Guayabitos?
Visita la Isla del Coral, tomando una lancha en la playa que cobra $180 pesos por persona y te lleva para allá y regresa por ti a la hora que indiques. La última lancha que pasa por gente a las isla es las 6 p.m. Aquí puedes nadar, comer y si llevas a alguien en silla de ruedas no creo que sea muy seguro ya que no está adaptado el lugar con rampas o accesos.
Para que disfrutes muchísimo más de la isla te recomendamos llevar tu equipo sencillo de snorkel para que te sorprendas con tanta vida marina que hay ahí.
En San Pancho puedes caminar, visitar las tiendas de artesanías e ir a disfrutar del atardecer en la playa, es realmente hermoso.
-¿Dónde comer en Rincón de Guayabitos?
A cada paso que des aquí encontrarás un puesto que venda algo para comer, por ejemplo tostadas de ceviche, camarón a las brasas, cocteles de fruta, etc. También hay restaurantes a pie de playa donde puedes comer cómodamente y disfrutar de la vista.
Nosotros comimos en el ”Restaurante Toñita I” y probamos el coctel de camarón pero caliente, fue una experiencia nueva para nosotros y además nos encantó. Su menú es variado, la atención es buena y la calidad de alimentos también.
Y si visitas San Pancho, prueba el Restaurante Maria’s, es muy bueno también o en la playa hay restaurantes que ofrecen comida y bebida para que la pases bastante gusto. En esta playa no andan vendiendo comida en puestos como en Guayabitos y tampoco hay renta de camastros o palapas para que te asolees, aquí cada quien lleva lo suyo.
