1. Cirque de Gavarnie Gavarnie
The Cirque de Gavarnie is a cirque in the central Pyrenees, in Southwestern France, close to the border of Spain. It is within the commune of Gavarnie, the department of Hautes-Pyrénées, and the Pyrénées National Park. Major features of the cirque are La Brèche de Roland and the Gavarnie Falls. It was described by Victor Hugo as the Colosseum of nature due to its enormous size and horseshoe shape resembling an ancient amphitheatre.The cirque is 800 m wide and about 3,000 m wide at the top. The rock walls that surround it are up to 1,500 metres above the floor of the Cirque.During the warmer seasons of spring, summer and fall, there are a number of large meltwater falls that spill into the cirque. Pont d'Espagne is a stone-built bridge that spans the Gave de Marcadau at the point where it meets the Gave de Gaube, near one of its sources high in the French Pyrenees. It is a protected area of the Pyrénées in the Pyrénées National Park. The Pont d'Espagne is at an altitude of approx 1500m. The name translates as Spanish Bridge. Located near Asson, Lestelle-Bétharram and Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre, they offer a threeway discovery: by foot, by boat and finally, by train, the key to similar cave formation. The entrance is located in Asson and the exit in Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre.

Places to see in ( Lourdes - France ) Sacre Coeur Parish Church

The present parish church was built between the 28th of July of 1875 and the 8th of September of 1903. It houses Bernadette’s baptismal font. In the crypt lies Abbot Peyramale’s tomb, priest of Lourdes at the times of the visions. Under the bell tower stands a statue of “Bernadette en capulet”, wearing typical regional headdress. The parish church was built in substitution of the ancient Saint-Pierre church, located on the market square (at present the Peyramale square), a church where Bernadette used to go and destroyed by fire in 1904.

Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart) Parish Church is a church located in the commune of Lourdes in France.Built between 1875 and 1903, it retains many reminders of the old Parish Church of St. Peter that was destroyed. On the right hand side of the transept, is the Baptismal Font where Bernadette was baptised on 9th January 1844, as well as the statues of the Blessed Virgin and St. John the Baptist.

The view from the top and the architecture is just awesome. Even the restaurants and cafes around that place just as awesome with a very nice atmosphere, the only thing is that, it can get a bit pricey around that area.
