First Time Trying TRADITIONAL FRENCH FOOD in Paris France! OLDEST Bakery in Paris
I went to Paris a long time ago, but I thought I'd come back and do a proper food tour! On this food adventure, I ate some amazing pastries, and one of my favorites was the pistachio escargot pastry, but I still love the original flakey and buttery croissants. At Chez Fernand, you'll have some of the riches foods there like the legendary Boeuf bourguignon defiantly get that because the beef is incredibly tender. I had the best soufflé at La Cuisine de Philippe you can get a savory one and when you need something sweet you can get the chocolate soufflé. If you want something cheesy, go to Pain Vin Fromage, it's a great experience because you get to cook your cheese and meats on a mini stove.

How To Make Garbure - A Simple Hearty Traditional French Dish!
Garbure is one of my favorite dishes on earth! It is one of the Hautes-Pyrénées (and other areas of the South West of France that were originally part of the Gascogne region) specialty and pure delish!
Easy to make and delicious, it is the absolute comfort food to me.
Don't forget to ready a nice bottle of wine to go with it! Depending on the meat you put in there, white and red can both be matched with Garbure :-)
Ingredients
- 1 pack of white beans
- Pork loin
- 3/4 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 to 1/2 cabbage (depending on the size)
- 1 bouquet garni (or at least some thyme and laurier)
- salt and pepper
- a little bit of white wine (if you have a bottle open!)
Cook all the ingredients in the order shown in the video.
Confit duck is a great addition to this dish. 1 or 2 potatoes too!
I like to cook the remaining of the garbure and its juice with pasta. Sprinkle some gruyère or comté cheese on it and enjoy!

Le Polidor. The restaurant in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
It’s no wonder Woody Allen used Polidor as one of the locations for his time travel fantasy, Midnight in Paris. Stepping through the door is stepping back in time. On his first night walk in Midnight in Paris, protagonist, Gil (played by Owen Wilson) meets his idol Hemingway in this historic restaurant on 41 rue Monsieur-le-Prince. It’s wooden interior largely unaltered in 100 years, Le Polidor remains a cherished Parisian time capsule, one of the most popular in the Left Bank. Le Polidor, which first opened in 1845, continues the tradition of the great Parisian bistros. Here you can taste authentic Burgundy snails, blanquette de veau, boeuf bourguignon and grills. The meats that are served are French (from Normandy, the Limousin and Aquitaine). Everything is home-made, even the desserts!

French Gastronomy in Dijon and Burgundy
Dijon and the French Burgundy region are a paradise for art and gastronomy lovers. The Dijon historic centre was listed last year as a world heritage site by Unesco. So did many wine appellations in Burgundy, like Cote de Nuit. MIG takes you on a journey to discover this unique Art de Vivre, through architecture, gastronomic heritage – from “Dijon mustard” to cheese and sweets – and of course the famous vine route. A path more and more Indian tourists choose to enjoy.

There are few cities in the world that can compare to Jerusalem in terms of ancient history and religious significance. It’s one of the most fascinating cities in the world, and it’s a city that I’ve wanted to visit my entire life. Finally, along with my friend David ( and Rafram, we explored Jerusalem to discover the food treasures the city has to offer - and let me tell you, you’ll find some incredibly delicious food in Jerusalem!
We started off the Jerusalem food tour by first walking around East Jerusalem and starting with the best plate of hummus I’ve ever had. We then toured around Old Jerusalem, and enjoyed some incredible Palestinian food kebabs cooked by an incredible man who cooked with serious love and passion. Another highlight in Jerusalem was the mutabak, a thin pastry stuffed with cheese and baked.
After eating our way through Old Jerusalem, we then headed into West Jerusalem and went to lunch at an Israeli Jewish restaurant serving a mix of amazing dishes. The food was home-cooked in style, and absolutely sensation. A few more snacks and sightseeing throughout the afternoon, and that brought us all the way to dinner where David had made reservations to eat at one of the hottest restaurants in Jerusalem, Machneyuda Restaurant. It was quite an experience, and an amazing meal and lively atmosphere to wrap up this ultimate Jerusalem food tour.
Here’s all the food and places included in this Palestinian food and Israeli food tour of Jerusalem:

Thank you again to David ( and Rafram for showing me some of the best food in Jerusalem!

According to Chef and Man of the People, Jean-Pierre Xiradakis, a visit to any city should begin at the market. Its where locals congregate to connect, communicate and celebrate the bounty of fresh produce and products of the region. Marché des Capucins in the heart of Bordeaux is a perfect market and meeting place.
