Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano in the Zambales Mountains, located on the tripoint boundary of the Philippine provinces of Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga, all in Central Luzon on the northern island of Luzon. Its eruptive history was unknown to most before the pre-eruption volcanic activities of 1991, just before June. Pinatubo was heavily eroded, inconspicuous and obscured from view. It was covered with dense forests which supported a population of several thousand indigenous Aetas. Pinatubo is most notorious for its Volcanic Explosivity Index 6 eruption on June 15, 1991, the second-largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century after the 1912 eruption of Novarupta in Alaska. 4. Capones Island San Antonio
Capones Island, also known as Grand Capon or Capon Grande Island is a small island approximately 1.9 kilometers long by 0.4 kilometers wide, at its widest point, lying some 3.8 kilometers off the coast of the province of Zambales on western Luzon island in the Philippines. It is the largest of the Capones Islands , a group of three small islands which also includes nearby Camara Island and another islet connected to it by a sand bar. The island is administratively part of barangay Pundaquit of the Zambales municipality of San Antonio. The island is characterized by huge rock formations and steep cliffs surrounded by white sand and coral beaches. The Capones Island Lighthouse is located on the hillside near the western end of the island.

So we decided to go for a road triiiip! We're supposed to go to Bataan but apparently Bataan wasn't good enough. The waves were too low and the sea wasn't well maintained. Unlike Zambales, It had white sand and a lot of islands! You get to do snorkeling and see a lot of fishes, shells and chorals! It's the best place for family outings and friends. You get to ride on colorful banana boats! The locals are very nice and jolly! PLUS don't worry about the costs cause its affordable! You get to swim on swimming pools and have your 3 meals in the restaurant of the resort. it's 3-4 hours away from Manila! and you get to buy souvenirs. What are you waiting for?
