Bodegas Puelles (Rioja, Spain) - The Best Wineries of the World
The Puelles family has lived in Ábalos for longer than anyone can remember, and their winemaking tradition goes back just as far. The current generation, the brothers Jesús ans Félix Puelles, have enlarged the Molino (Old Mill) Estate and converted it into a lovely wine cellar, standing alongside the old 17th century water mill which the family bought from the town council in 1844.
This Tempranillo-planted estate follows ecological growing methods and produces and ages the wines from different plots separately, with the utmost care and attention, before bottling them as an Estate Wine under the El Molino de Puelles label.
The winery is next to the hotel Hospederia del Vino.

Una idea: visita las Bodegas Franco-Españolas que son las más antiguas de Logroño y se encuentran muy cerca del casco histórico, simplemente atravesando el Puente de Hierro.
