Aegina, Poros & Hydra | 3 Greek Islands in 1 Day Cruise
Welcome on board to get to Aegina, Poros and Hydra islands, all three islands in one day!
Sail with me first to the biggest island on our journey in the Saronic Gulf, Aegina (in Greek: Αίγινα) island. We are going to stroll around the small beautiful harbour city, buy the world famous pistachios and see some cats by the animal protection station.
After a delicious buffet on board, we sail to Greek island-pair called Poros (in Greek: Πόρος). There, we are going to visit the famous landmark of the island, shop some local products from a boutique shop and have a walk around the harbour under the blue sky.
Last, we are going to visit Hydra (in Greek: Ύδρα) island. Hydra port is a picturesque crescent-shaped small harbour town where we are going to relax after a long day. Why? Because since by law, cars and motorcycles are not allowed on this Greek island. Mules, donkeys and water taxis provide public transportation in this island. So, we are walking around to see the breathtaking views and climb up to visit the statue of Andreas Miaoulis, admiral during the Greek War of Independence.
After a whole day on the sea and visiting three Greek islands in one day, it´s time to head back to Athens. But wait, not before we have a quick Greek traditional dance party on the cruise boat.

Greek Islands Cruise / Poros, Hydra & Aegina
One day cruise from Athens to the Greek Islands Poros, Hydra and Aegina, located in the Saronic Gulf, just about 2 hours from the Greek capital. The cruise is a popular one day excursion or weekend break. It lasts 12 hours and it can include a transfer to / from your hotel in Athens.
You will board a cruise ship that stops at the three islands - Hydra, Poros and Aegina with free time to explore each of them. You will also enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and Greek music and dances on board.
From the open deck you will have a great vantage point for seeing the beautiful Greek coast and Aegean Sea and also enjoy the sun.
Due to potential copyright claims I could've received, I didn't unfortunately leave the video with its natural sound and music while on board. They were playing popular Greek songs / incl. Zorba / and if you don't know how to dance sirtaki, they will teach you on board.

Agistri island, Greece | The diamond of the Argosaronic Gulf HD
Agistri is located just 55 minutes from Piraeus, a stone's throw from Aegina and offers a wonderful summer vacation and relaxed weekends.
It is perhaps the best choice for anyone who wants to spend a holiday near Athens, combining vacations with his work or for one who wants a one-day respite and relaxation during the summer.
It is a small terrestrial paradise of the Argosaronikos, drowned in the green, with the pine trees touching its blue waters.
In Agistri you will find green pine forests, sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, traditional color, tranquility, tranquility, but also a lively nightlife for those who want it.
The general picture of the island is completely different from that of other islands that are flooded every year by mass tourism. Perhaps it is one of the last romantic destinations in Greece, which slowly became the pole of attraction and inspiration of many artists.

Poros Island - Greece 4K Travel Channel
The island of Poros is a small Greek island of volcanic origin in the Saronic Gulf.
In ancient times the island was called Kalavria. Here, Poseidon was especially honored. According to ancient mythology, Poseidon gave the island of Delphi in exchange for Poros to Apollo.
In 1828, the first Greek borders were defined during a meeting of the first head of state of independent Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias, with diplomats from Britain, France and Russia on the island of Poros.
We reach the idyllic island of Hydra coming from the south. The weather is not very welcoming and it is the beginning of November. The main tourist season is over and therefore only few people on the streets.
A few years ago we've visited this region in beautiful sunshine, but we have seen the island and the town only from Galata on the Peloponnese.
Most of the town of Poros is built on a hill situated on the small peninsula Sferia. This time we take the steep climb to the clock tower of Poros. Here it turns out to be an advantage that not as many tourists are traveling.
The view is great. Cacti bloom next to the way and Aleppo pine trees provide shade. We can understand why Poros is a popular destination for Athenians.
The sellers are starting to bring their goods from the street to the shops and to welcome the evening. We enjoy the hustle and bustle from the ship deck over a cup of coffee.
While leaving Poros direction Aegina we look back at the pretty panorama slightly wistful.
