SARZORA LAKE || Destination In Goa || South Goa || VLOG 3
INTRODUCTION
The Sarzora lake is situated about 8 km away from margao on the NH 17 in the tiny village of Sarzora. To reach it one has to take a left at Sarzora. The road ahead is quite small and devoid of landmarks so one will have to ask the locals the way.The lake is man made and the water is stored and used for irrigation purposes.
It is surrounded by forest on 2 sides where a variety of birds can be seen and heard. In fact this reviewer was lucky enough to see a number of peacocks when he visited. There are lush paddy fields surrounding one side of the lake making it extremely picturesque.
It's a great place to relax for an hour or two.

Have you explored this Hidden Sweet Lake in Arambol Mountains of Goa?
Most interestingly there is a narrow risky route from Arambol to Sweet Water Lake and Kalacha beach through the Arambol Mountain. You have to literally explore the route through forests and mountains in order to reach the other side. When you reach the other side you will see not only Kalacha beach but also a beautiful sweet water lake. From sweet water lake a narrow climb goes to banyan tree baba. Our trekking on Arambol Mountain was a great adventure in our Goa trip. It was full of risk, adventure, scary feeling, uncertainty, beauty and satisfaction.
