2. Bonaventure Cemetery Savannah
Bonaventure Cemetery is a public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia. The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book. It is the largest of the city's municipal cemeteries, containing nearly 160 acres .The entrance to the cemetery is located at 330 Bonaventure Road. Immediately inside the gates is the large and ornate Gaston's Tomb.

Juliette Gordon Low was the founder of Girl Scouts of the USA. Inspired by the work of Lord Baden-Powell, founder of Boy Scouts, Juliette Low joined the Girl Guide movement in England, forming a group of Girl Guides in Great Britain in 1911. In 1912 she returned to the United States, and established the first U.S. Girl Guide troop in Savannah, Georgia, that year. In 1915, the United States' Girl Guides became known as the Girl Scouts, and Juliette Gordon Low was the first president. She stayed active until the time of her death. Her birthday, October 31, is commemorated by the Girl Scouts as Founder's Day.

The Independent Presbyterian Church of Savannah in Savannah, GA is the first Presbyterian church in Georgia, founded in 1755. Land for its first building was deeded by King George II of Great Britain for use by colonial adherents of the Church of Scotland. The first building burned down in 1796, and another modeled after St. Martin in the Fields was built in 1800. This building burned down in 1889 and a reproduction was completed in 1891.The current minister is Terry Johnson, who is a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America.

Savannah is my favorite place to visit in Georgia. The town is filled with great people, great food and great history. It would have been easier to make a list about reasons to move to Savannah but sadly people don't watch positive videos. I probably will anyway in the near future. This city deserves it.
