At just 42km long and around 14km at its widest point, Tobago is a breeze to roam around. Anyone spending more than a few days on the island will quickly familiarise themselves with the roads, bays and bends, and it will all start to feel like home. You’ll never have to drive more than an hour and a half – which also means that hotel and even airport pickups may be included as part of tours. Be aware though that the easily queasy may want to limit the number of times they zigzag across the island; the roads rollercoaster along steep hillsides and motion sickness is even more of a risk than sea sickness. The reward is that every crest of a hill results in sweeping views of sapphire seas or emerald jungle; the journey really is all part of the adventure.

100% Verified Reviews:
Pluses:
Location, pool area, gardens, location of restaurant. only had one meal which was fine but not exceptional. Staff good. Hot water and air con in room good. Checked out the hotel a few days prior to staying and there was no record of our booking. Seems Trinidad main office had not passed it on. Could have been roomless if had not checked prior to arrival.
Comfortable room with easy access to pool and amenities
Swimming pool n Jacuzzi are value for money.
Minuses:
Room poor. Dark, no mirror, towel rail or plug in bathroom. No way of turning off lights when in bed other than walking across the room. Terrace(ground floor room) had large puddle at edge due to leaking gutter. No chairs in room. Decor shabby. Sliding door to terrace difficult to lock and maid left it open. No safe or fridge in room.
No wifi in rooms, pool area and jacuzzi not lighted adequately at nights
Breakfast selection is very limited. There needs to be more variety.
Coco Reef Resort, Crown Point, Tobago
The Coco Reef Resort is unquestionably the most popular luxury resort on Tobago. Comfortable, in a traditional 'colonial' manner, the hotel may not have the star-appeal of modern super-luxury resorts, but it boasts a repeat rate that would be the envy of any hotel.

The Caribbean Island of Tobago
Sometimes regarded as Trinidad's Little Sister, the Island of Tobago is located just off the eastern coast of Venezuela in the southern Caribbean. The island offers a uniquely unspoiled experience with a slow pace of life, beautiful beaches, coral reefs, small fishing villages, a rainforest, and plenty of sun, sand and sea. Tobago's colourful and tumultuous history includes Amerindian and African heritage, battles for European conquest and visits from ships bearing the skull and crossbones.
