Scarperia e San Piero is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Florence, in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 25 kilometres northeast of Florence. It was created on 1 January 2014 after the merger of former comuni of Scarperia and San Piero a Sieve. Since 2009 it is the seat of La Marzocco Espresso machines are manufactured. Mugello Circuit is a race track in Scarperia e San Piero, Tuscany, Italy. Its length is 5.245 km . It has 14 turns and a long straight . The circuit stadium stands have a capacity of 50,000. Grand Prix motorcycle racing host an annual event here . Also, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters hold an annual event. The track is property of Scuderia Ferrari which uses it for Formula One testing. The first race of the A1GP 2008/09 season was originally planned to be held at the Mugello circuit on 21 September 2008. However, the race had to be cancelled due to the delay in building the new chassis for the new race cars.

The museum is not purely for cars; also on view are trophies, photographs and other historical objects relating to the Italian motor racing industry. It is located just 300 m from the Ferrari factory in Ferrari's home town of Maranello, near Modena, Italy. The museum first opened in February 1990, with a new wing being added in October 2004.
