Ponte Tibetano Carasc / Bridge / Monte Carasso / Drone - Top Places to See / DJI Phantom 4
Ponte Tibetano Carasc is a pedestrian bridge built over valley separating Sementia and Monte Carasso. It is the longest Tibetan-style bridge in Switzerland. It is among the top ten highlights of Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The bridge is 270 meters long, 1 meter wide and approximately 130 meters above ground.
One can easily reach the bridge after hiking for approximately an hour, starting from the village of Curzútt. It is an ancient stone village near Bellinzona reachable by a cable cart from the town of Monte Carasso.
The hiking itself is very pleasant, one can walk through chestnut trees. It is a medium difficulty hike, can be done with children as well.
The view from the bridge is breathtaking, it is absolutely thrilling to walk on the swaying bridge more than 100 meters above ground.
A must place to see in Switzerland!
Three Castles of Bellinzona - UNESCO World Heritage Site
Our visit to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Three Castles of Bellinzona, Switzerland. Situated in a narrow mountain pass between Italy and Switzerland, where over the centuries many trade routes have passed through. Lacking in resources and food, the ingenious locals built toll booths, fortified by these three incredible castles. The wall once stretched across the entire valley - crazy!
