Beyond Horizons. Connecting Cultural and Creative Sectors: Armenia - Georgia - Moldavia – Ukraine
A study trip to Slovenia (10 - 14 April 2017)
Motovila, Centre for the Promotion of Cooperation in the Cultural and Creative Sectors, in cooperation with the European Union-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme from 10th to 14th April 2017 organised a study tour for 23 representatives of the cultural sector from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. During five-day study study visit they got to know more than 60 Slovenian organisations and visited 21 cultural spaces or venues. In addition to the capital city, the guests were also introduced to the cultural scenes in the eastern (Maribor) and western (Vipava, Nova Gorica, Šempas and Osek) parts of Slovenia.

Apart from the regional programe of the EU-Eastern Partnership for Culture and Creativity, the study trip was carried out in cooperation with a number of professional and local partners, among them Bunker Institute, Poligon Creative Centre, Vetrinje Mansion – Narodni dom Maribor, Academy of Arts of the University of Nova Gorica (UNG AU), Kulturni dom Nova Gorica (Nova Gorica City Gallery) and the European Union House – European Parliament Information Office in Slovenia and European Commission Representation in the Republic of Slovenia.

Slove'n'aid je v okviru Evropskega leta za razvoj 2015 pod vodstvom avtorja in producenta Žige Pirnata posnel skladbo En svet, za katero so člani skupine s producentsko ekipo SpotX in režiserjem Andražem Gliho posneli tudi videospot.
Evropsko leto za razvoj 2015 poteka pod sloganom “Naš svet, naše dostojanstvo, naša prihodnost” ter ima za cilj informirati, izobraževati in ozaveščati državljane Slovenije in EU o mednarodnem razvojnem sodelovanju.

Instrumental + choir (karaoke) version of En svet, originally performed by Slove'n'aid, a supergroup of 16 established Slovenian musicians of different genres who are gathered to support and promote Slovenia’s International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.
In the European Year of Development 2015, Slove’n’aid recorded a song called One World (En svet in Slovenian), written and produced by Žiga Pirnat. A music video was released, directed by Andraž Gliha.
The goal of the European Year for Development 2015, under the slogan “Our World. Our Dignity. Our Future”, is to inform, and raise awareness of the citizens of the EU, including Slovenia, about the International Development Cooperation.
