Azerbaijan tours will introduce you the country on the shores of the Caspian Sea, rich in ancient historical monuments, sanatoriums and picturesque nature. You will discover modern Baku and unique Old Town, thermal springs of Ganja and Naftalan, the center of carpet weaving in Quba, delicious Azerbaijan cuisine and many more.
The most popular Azerbaijan tours are cultural, beach and spa (sanatorium) holiday programs. The guided tours offer you the popular tourist places in Azerbaijan: Shamakhi, Baku, Sheki, Quba and others.
Kabala and Nakhichevan, the oldest cities in South Caucasus, are famous for keeping unique national essence. Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, does not differ from a modern European city at the first glance: modern architecture, numerous hotels and restaurants, landscaped parks and wide squares with fountains. At the same time, the old part of Baku preserved its historic spirit: residential courtyards and narrow cobbled streets are the same, as they were 40 years ago, when famous Soviet film “The Diamond Arm” was shot there.
Azerbaijan is an ideal destination for a family holiday. The sandy beaches of the Caspian Sea, many parks, attractions, shopping and entertainment centers offer diverse leisure time as for parents so for children.
Masally, Naphthalene, Baku, Ganja are the best for SPA-tours as they are famous for thermal, mineral and naftalan sources and springs. Spa tour programs offer treatment, séances in salt caves, and sanatoriums in beautiful Azerbaijani.
Azerbaijan tours perfectly blend visiting ancient and modern monuments and exploring local cuisine, museums, traditions, wine, and carpets. Holiday in this beautiful Caucasian country with plenty of sun and fruits, colorful and hospitable people, beautiful and diverse nature, smells of the sea, excellent hotels and good shopping will stay in your memory forever.

Şəki:
Sheki (Azerbaijani: Şəki; until 1968 Nukha, Azerbaijani: Nuxa; also known as Nucha, Noukha, Shäki, Sheki and Shaki) is Azerbaijan's true travel gem, a small city off on the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Etymology of the town’s name derived to the ancient times when this region of Azerbaijan was inhabited by tribe named “sakas” 6-7 age BC. Rich in Islamic architecture, Silk Road history, good food, and friendly people, this is travel and leisure in the Caucasus at its finest.
Shaki is surrounded by snowy peaks of the Greater Caucasus, which in some places reaches 3000–3600 m. Shaki's climate includes a range of cyclones and anticyclones, air masses and local winds. The average annual temperature in Shaki is 12 °C. In June and August, average temperature varies between 20 and 25 °C.
The mountain forests around the area prevent the city from floods and overheating of the area during summer. The main rivers of the city are the Kish and Gurjhana. During the Soviet rule of Azerbaijan, many ascended to Shaki to bathe in its prestigious mineral springs.
The number of Shaki population is 174.1 thousand people. Including, the rural population is 105.7 thousand people, while the urban population is 66.9 thousand people. Population density is 72 people per 1 square kilometer. Of the total population, 86.4 thousand or 49.6% of men, 87.7 thousand or 50.4% are women. 38.4 percent of the population lives in the city and 61.6 percent lives in the village.
In 2010, Shaki was visited by 15,000 foreign tourists from all around the world.
Shaki has one of the greatest density of cultural resources and monuments that include 2700 years of Azerbaijani history. The city boasts a lot of houses with red roofs. In pop culture, probably the most famous feature of Shakinians are their nice sense of humour and comic tales.Shaki's comic tales hero Hacı dayı (Uncle Haji) is the subject of nearly all jokes in the area.
Shaki has always played a central role in Azerbaijani art and more generally in the art and architecture of Azerbaijan. Under the name of Nukha, the city is the scene of much of the action in Brecht's play The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
Perhaps the best-known aspect of Shaki cooking is its rich sweet dishes. Shaki is traditionally held as the home of special type of baklava, called Shaki Halva. Others include nabat boiled sugar and sweet pesheveng.
Shaki also has some famous dishes, including girmabadam, zilviya, piti, a stew created with meat and potatoes and prepared in a terracotta pot.
The city is home of annual Mugham Festival and Silk Road International Music Festival.

Azerbaijan, Palace of Shaki Khans - To the Caspian Sea ep17-Travel vlog calatorii tourism video
The Palace of Shaki Khans in Shaki, Azerbaijan was a summer residence of Shaki Khans. It features decorative tiles, fountains and several stained-glass windows. The exterior is decorated with dark blue, turquoise and ochre tiles in geometric patterns and the murals were coloured with tempera and are inspired by the works of Nizami Ganjavi.
Along with its pool and plane trees, the summer residence is the only remaining structure from the larger palatial complex inside the Sheki Khans' Fortress, which once included a winter palace, residences for the Khan's family and servants' quarters. It was built in 1797 by Muhammed Hasan Khan and restored between 1952 and 1967 by a team lead of architects led by Niyazi Rzayev.

Azerbaijan/Baku (Seaside boulevard) Part 10

Baku Boulevard:
Baku Boulevard (Azerbaijani: Dənizkənarı Milli Park, also known as National Park) is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch.
The park stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea.It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (new boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km, extending the promenades to National Flag Square. In 2015 White City Boulevard added a further 2 km to the east of Freedom Square and reports have suggested that eventually the boulevard might be as long as 26 km, including Bibiheybət.
In 2010, a multi-story shopping mall Park Bulvar, Baku Business Centre and 5D cinema were opened in this promenade as part of Government's regeneration policy to boost shopping and leisure in Baku.
In 2012, after Azerbaijan's victory in Eurovision Song Contest 2011, the boulevard extended towards Bayil settlement, where National Flag Square unveiled. Confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records, the flag flies on a pole 162 meters high and measures 70 by 35 meters which makes it the world's highest flag. Baku Crystal Hall, which hosted Eurovision Song Contest 2012, is located next to it.
In 2014, the 60-metre (197 ft) tall Baku Ferris Wheel opened in the new section of the Boulevard.
In 2014, the new building of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was constructed at the Boulevard.
In 2015, Stone Chronicle Museum, “XX-XXI Century Azerbaijani painting” Museum and Yarat Contemporary Art Center were opened at the Boulevard. Additionally, opening ceremonies of Water Sports Palace and White City Boulevard were held in 2015.
In 2016, the new section of the Boulevard saw the opening of Baku's first open-air cinema.
The square has often been the scene of public meetings, cultural gatherings, celebrations, ceremonies, parades, concerts and has lately become the venue for the city's extensive New Year celebrations.Wikipedia

Construction of these caravanserai is dated back to the 18th-19th centuries AD.
Since 1988, the lower caravanserai is used as a hotel complex for tourists, guests of the city and local residents.
