SIBU ISLAND MALAYSIA - MY REVIEWS 2017
This is my honest review abou Sibu island in Malaysia.
Your holiday can by extended from Singapore.
If you like a island get away from Singapore and you have limited time.
Sibu Malaysia is an ideal place for Diving, snorkelling and some relaxing holiday with your family and friends.
We had 3 days 2 nights in Sibu and we stayed at Sari Pacifica.
I think this is a better place for price wise.
The water are much nicer here.
Though I have some minor problems with Sand flies - the beach is full of million sand flies which this is very much issue for skin as it bites and it is painful. Seems sand flies here are immune to repellent.
Overall is okay. a 3 hour drive from Singapore to get here in Tanjung Leman ferry terminal.
We had 2 rooms - 1 room is not near to the beach and it cost RM 180.
The one that is near the beach cost at RM 380.
Drinks are very expensive so you may like to fill up your basket full of beer and there is a fridge we can store your drinks.
Food wise are readable at Sari Pacifica.
Book Sari Pacifica here:

We came to Borneo to eat and made a Street Food Adventure tour video just for you. I (Trevor James, The Food Ranger) and Ting Ting as well as Chuchu, travel to the deep back streets of Kuching, in Borneo Malaysia, filming and tasting the top street foods to try in Kuching!
Some people say that Kuching is like the Penang of Borneo. With Penang being the food capital of Peninsular Malaysia, they say that Kuching is the food capital of Borneo Malaysia. There is a huge Chinese influence in Kuching and you can see lots of Chinese street food on the streets but in Malaysian style. Hawker centers are everywhere. It truly is a magical food city. There is a ton of unique cuisine to try!
Whether eating street food in Penang, Kuala Lumpur Street food, or here in Kuching having Kuching street food, it's all good and varies in flavor but you MUST come to try the street food in all of these locations! In Peninsular Malaysia, you can find Chinese street food, Indian street food, and Malay street food all over the place. Here, in Kuching, it's more Chinese street food and Iban, Bidayuh, and Malay street food. All of these come together to make Malaysian street food some of the best in the world!
We are bringing you for a huge Malaysian street food tour as well as a full-on street food ADVENTURE into Kuching's liveliest street food markets, street food alleyways, and deep food streets.
On our trip to Borneo, we found and ate a ton of cheap (NOT EXPENSIVE) and delicious street food. We couldn't stop eating all the street food that we found. This is one place in Asia you have to visit to eat the street food!
Asian street food is without a doubt some of the BEST street food in the world, and since we live in China, eating Chinese street food all the time, it's very easy and fun for us to travel overland or fly to Southeast Asia (places like Vietnam, Thailand, or Vietnam) to try the best street food when we like.
We shot this street food tour for you, eating a ton of tasty Malaysian street foods. Here are the addresses for the street foods, for your next visit to Kuching, Borneo, Malaysia:
