Sint-Katelijne-Waver is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver and Sint-Katelijne-Waver proper. On January 1, 2006 Sint-Katelijne-Waver had a total population of 19,577. The total area is 36.12 km² which gives a population density of 542 inhabitants per km². Roosendael, a ruined relic of a cistercian abbey is situated here and host today a youth and touristic centre with pleasant walkways.

Pairi Daiza is a privately owned zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The 65-hectare large animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 4,000 animals. The name is taken from the Avestan word pairi daēza, which is the source of the [Persian language] word paradise. Pairi Daiza is owned and operated by Pairi Daiza Belgium SA, a limited company previously listed on NYSE Alternext Brussels . It is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria , and participates in the European Endangered Species Programme .

Walibi Belgium, formerly Walibi Wavre and then Six Flags Belgium, is a Belgian theme park located in Wavre, close to Brussels. During the 1998 to 2004 period, it was owned by Six Flags, Inc, an American theme park operator. It was later sold to Palamon Capital Partners. As of 2006, the park is owned and operated, along with Paris' Parc Astérix, by CDA Parks . The Walibi name comes from the mix of Wavre, Limal and Bièrges, three towns in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, where the park is situated.

The Musée Hergé, or Hergé Museum, is a museum in Belgium dedicated to the life and work of the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi , who wrote under the pen name Hergé, creator of the series of comic albums, The Adventures of Tintin. The museum is located in the town of Louvain-la-Neuve in Wallonia to the south of Brussels at the address, Rue Labrador 26, Tintin's first home in the books. It was designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc, with interiors designed by cartoonist Joost Swarte. The first stone was laid May 2007 during the centenary of Hergé's birth and it opened in June 2009. It consists of three floors with a total of nine exhibition rooms, and a café, museum shop and mini cinema.
