Smilavichy or Smilovichi is a town in Belarus in the Minsk Province, located at 53.75°N 28.02°E / 53.75; 28.02 at 156 m altitude.In Jewish tradition it is known as Smilovitz . The village is the birthplace of the renowned painter Chaim Soutine.
