Látrabjarg, is a promontory and the westernmost point in Iceland. The cliffs are home to millions of birds, including puffins, northern gannets, guillemots and razorbills. It is vital for their survival as it hosts up to 40% of the world population for some species e.g. the Razorbill. It is Europe's largest bird cliff, 14km long and up to 440m high.

Snæfellsjökull is a 700,000-year-old glacier-capped stratovolcano in western Iceland. The name of the mountain is actually Snæfell, but it is normally called Snæfellsjökull to distinguish it from two other mountains with this name. It is situated on the most western part of the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Iceland. Sometimes it may be seen from the city of Reykjavík over Faxa Bay, at a distance of 120 km. The mountain is one of the most famous sites of Iceland, primarily due to the novel Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne, in which the protagonists find the entrance to a passage leading to the center of the earth on Snæfellsjökull. Seaside Cliffs of Arnarstapi, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland [Drone Video]

The coastline between Arnarstapi and Hellnar is a natural natural reserve which features breathtaking cliff formations with pillars, arches, natural stone bridges and grottoes. One of the more famous arches is called Gatklettur.

Arnarstapi is a small town near the glacier Snæfellsjökull. The region is Snæfellsbær which lies on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Western Iceland.
