FOOD & THINGS TO DO IN SOFIA CENTER | Sightseeing in the city | Bulgaria Travel Vlog
Sofia city center has some incredible food, things to do, sightseeing and attractions to see. This travel vlog shows Bulgaria and it's food... ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
Sophia aka Sofia, is the largest city in Bulgaria and home to some amazing buildings, history and attractions. The city center is the best place to start on your sightseeing hunt and covers a good amount of the best things to do and what to see in Sofia.
Bulgarian food is incredible, but our priority was the traditional Bulgarian breakfast for the purpose of this vlog! Bulgaria has some delicious cuisine, but any country that eats dessert for breakfast is high on our list of things we have to try! Mekitsa in Sofia was a must taste! They call it food, we call it dessert :)
Bulgaria is an easy place to make a travel vlog, city centers like in Sophia make our job easy with deciding what to see. For the most part, the city offers incredible buildings, churches, ancient ruins and age old structures. To really tackle the larger things to do in Sofia you probably need to get out of the city and venture deeper into Bulgaria as a whole. In upcoming travel vlogs we'll also show the other main attractions a few hours away, known as top sightseeing stops, to add some contrast to the concrete of the city along with more food where we can.
Stay tuned for more Bulgaria and Sofia vlogs from in and around the city including a free food tour coming soon.

Train Travel - Poland, Hungary, Serbia, to Montenegro (1ST & BUSINESS CLASS cabin).
We planned to spend a month or so in Croatia, but at the moment found this little country known as Montenegro. Admittedly, we knew very little about it, so we decided to skip Croatia and head further south for Montenegro. We prefer travel by train rather than air (you see more, and it's just a different experience- sometimes great... sometimes, not so great). This journey was highly recommended by the man in seat 61. Was the recommendation valid? You be the judge...

About Us: I'm PJ. My partner, inspiration, trainer, chef, and moral compass, Risa, are what we (reluctantly) refer to as, digital nomads. I say, reluctantly, as I've been living the digital nomad lifestyle for about 15 years now (long before the term was coined, and became the cheesy trend it is today. It seems that everyone these days on vacation with a laptop, a pina colada next to them, Avicii on their headphones, and a dozen memory sticks filled with selfies now considers themselves a (don't forget the hashtag) digital nomad.
I started out at age 19.
I quit my job at the time, to focus on the then still relatively unknown arbitrage business model as applied on eBay. Long story short, I saw an opportunity, invested all I had in it (time + money) and by my early 20s, I no longer had any interest in returning to Canada (where I grew up). I bounced mostly around Asia, for many years (all the usual nomad hotspots: Thailand, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, with a preference for Japan (lived all over Japan, from Tokyo, to the most remote Japanese islands in the Pacific). In late 2013, one of my returns to Tokyo, I met a captivating young woman, Risa, who helped me to re-calibrate my high-flyin', rock-star lifestyle and regain focus. Within a few months of meeting, she elected to quit her job in Tokyo and joined me on this nomadic journey.
This channel, will document our perpetual traveller lifestyle. It's not always easy, it's not always fun. There are highs and lows. Sometimes money is very tight, other times it seems like it's the least of our worries. But when done right, the digital nomad lifestyle is a journey unlike any other.
Over the last few years, we generally stay off the beaten path and instead venture into areas seldom spoken about in digital nomad circles. You won't see us visiting Bali, Saigon, or Bangkok. Been there, got the SIM card, and still feel a bit hungover. As we travel, we focus on personal growth, on disconnecting, unlearning, and thus thriving. We attempt to engage in philanthropy when we can. We respect the cultures kind enough to allow us to visit their land and their homes. Feel free to send us feedback, comments, suggestions.
Thank you for taking an interest in our journey. More videos of exotic places, stories, and people, will be uploaded weekly. As a demonstration of my gratitude to you for taking an interest in us, I will continue improving the quality of the content I create for you on a regular basis.

GDANSK TRAVEL VLOG | Friendcation ♥ | Dejana Pasic
I have not been well mentally for quite a while (that's why I haven't been uploading much or talking in my latest vlog), so now when I've got a little more energy than in a long time – me and my beautiful friend Enni thought it would be a good idea to get me out of my room and travel together.
I really enjoyed it and we had an amazing time in Gdansk and Sopot, Poland! I was really pleasantly surprised by these cities. Hope you enjoy the video – and take care of yourself ♥

In this episode, David spends a couple of days touring the Povardarie Wine Region in Macedonia – one of the country’s three main wine producing regions. Here, he explores three of the region’s top wineries: Tikves, Stobi, and Popova Kula.
Learn more about these wineries in our article: Wineries You Must Visit in the Povardarie Wine Region
During his September visit to Povardarie David was fortunate enough to be there during the annual grape harvest. Winemaking has been a part of Macedonian culture for more than 2,000 years! A visit to Povardarie will give you the opportunity to taste several Macedonian varieties, as well as international wines.
David begins his wine adventure at Tikves. Here, David was given the opportunity to see how the grapes are separated and cleaned before being pressed. The entire process of picking grapes takes about a month. At Tikves David tries several Balkan wines and a very good rakia.
Next stop of the day is Stobi Winery for a tour of the fermenting tanks and a peak at their harvesting process. During his lunch at Stobi David tried five types of wine. He also left with a couple of his favorites like Moscat and a Macedonian red wine called Vranec.
Like the other two wineries, Popova Kula was in the midst of a harvest. David and the crew woke up at 5:30 AM to catch the action for themselves. David even took part in the action and was cutting grapes alongside the other workers in the vineyards. Popova Kula is on our list of 10 Places You Must Visit in Macedonia
Popova Kula produces over 20 wines, many of which are Balkan varieties like Zilavka, Stanushina, and Prokupec.
The best part of Popova Kula winery is that you can stay here to get to know the wine, food, and local culture. Guests are invited to see a traditional Macedonian folk dance and join in if they wish.
Touring wineries in Macedonia’s Povardarie wine region is a must for any wine-lover in Macedonia.
