This video was taken over the Bay Way at I-10 in Spanish Fort Alabama. Spanish Fort is a thriving community sitting on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay near the delta. This thriving community sits 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL is roughly 30 - 45 minutes from Spanish Fort. Spanish Fort offers easy access to the I-10 making it a great place for those familiar with commutes. Fairhope is constantly being voted as one of the best places to live in the United States and is only 10 minutes from Spanish Fort. In reality, the towns are very similar, a few miles apart, and represent one great area along the shores of Mobile Bay in South Alabama. We're back in Phoenix, AZ after 15 months in Mexico. Can we find Mexico here? And do we miss life in the US?

In today’s Mexico to Phoenix vlog, we’re doing something that we’ve wanted to do for a long time—finding MEXICO in Arizona! We’re going around Phoenix, Arizona, attempting to find Mexico enclaves, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and things that just generally remind us about our newly-found home in Mexico.
Finding pieces of Mexico in our old stomping ground was a bit emotional, exciting, and a little bit shocking. What was surprising about it? Well, for example, one grocery store that we used to think was the epitome of Mexico really only has minor Mexican attributes.
We ran out of time to do/see everything we wanted to in Phoenix, unfortunately. But there's always next time! We hope to visit some more authentic Mexican restaurants in Phoenix to see how they compare. Plus, we'd like to chat with some more people in town to find out where they came from and what brought them to Phoenix.
Toward the end of this video, as we wrap up our Phoenix trip, we reflect on the things we miss about living in the US. As much as we love our new Mexican home, there are still quite a few things we miss about the US and Phoenix in particular.

Doha (Arabic: الدوحة, ad-Dawḥa or ad-Dōḥa,is the capital city and most populous city of the State of Qatar. Doha has a population of 1,351,000 in a city proper with the population close to 1.5 million. The city is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country. It is Qatar's fastest growing city, with over 50% of the nation's population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and it is also the economic centre of the country.
Doha was founded in the 1820s as an offshoot of Al Bidda. It was officially declared as the country's capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence from being a British Protectorate. As the commercial capital of Qatar and one of the emergent financial centres in the Middle East, Doha is considered a world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. Doha accommodates Education City, an area devoted to research and education.
The city was host to the first ministerial-level meeting of the Doha Development Round of World Trade Organization negotiations. It was also selected as host city of a number of sporting events, including the 2006 Asian Games, the 2011 Pan Arab Games and most of the games at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. In December 2011, the World Petroleum Council held the 20th World Petroleum Conference in Doha. Additionally, the city hosted the 2012 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations and is set to host a large number of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In May 2015, Doha was officially recognized as one of the New7Wonders Cities together with Vigan, La Paz, Durban, Havana, Beirut and Kuala Lumpur.
Doha is located on the central-east portion of Qatar, bordered by the Persian Gulf on its coast. Its elevation is 10 m (33 ft). Doha is highly urbanized. Land reclamation off the coast has added 400 hectares of land and 30 km of coastline. Half of the 22 km² of surface area which Hamad International Airport was constructed on was reclaimed land.The geology of Doha is primarily composed of weathered unconformity on the top of the Eocene period Dammam Formation, forming dolomitic limestone.

Doha is also home to a large number of expatriates from Europe, North America, South Africa, and Australia.

St. Augustine is a city on the northeast coast of Florida. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches like sandy St. Augustine Beach and tranquil Crescent Beach. Anastasia State Park is a protected wildlife sanctuary. The Castillo de San Marcos is a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet.
St Augustine is a small jewel of a city on the east coast, full of romantic ambiance and old world charm. It is best known for its remarkable historic streets, Spanish style architecture, and panoramic bay. Do take time to wander down St. George street, a promenade of sorts, and enjoy the art galleries, quaint shops, and restaurants.
St. Augustine is best known as the oldest European settlement in the United States. Spanish explorer, Juan Ponce de Leon, claimed the land now known as Florida in the name of Spain on March 27, 1513.
